For my senior project, i was granted approval to build a banshee from the ground up and show how i used all of my knowledge from my classes to complete it. You can get everything you need fron cpiracing.com. but theyre not real cheap. I think youd be better off getting a full new set. Youll know what they are then. i believe you can get bare metal "poor mans cpi's" for 300.

i was new to 2 strokes so when i was in the process of buying my banshee i had it inspected by a local shop. He recomended klotz to mix the gas, and penzoil for the clutch. I didnt know it was bad.

sorry, i run penzoil 10w40 engine oil. Change it every 6 hrs

I built the motor. It was a stock stroke, it had a crank seal go bad so i upgraded to a 4 mil. I got the basket, plates, and pressure plates, with hd springs from rockymountain or denniskirk. I know its slipping because when i drop out on the clutch lever, it feels like its spinning (what i actually thought the problem was) but it dont spin at all.

Everytime i drop out on the clutch, it seems like its slipping a little. Once its moving it stops (sometimes itll slip if i randomly brapp the throttle) the motor is new, its a 4mm with a dune port,wiseco pro lites, vf2 reeds, pods, hinson basket (new) barnett dirt digger clutch (also new) 21cc domes, 30okos +5 timing t5 pipes 22" xct rears, 15/41 gearing etc. Is it time for a lockup?
