Thanks for all the responses I had stock reeds before so I needed to cut the tab off of them to fit.

I recently purchased V4, and am curious is there a modification i need to make to them or another part i need to install these i feel like something is missing or should they just go right on?

This weekend fired it up 2 kicks after sitting for several months it was running a little funky. looked at the airbox drain plug looked a little dirty pulled it off and about a quart of mixed fuel poured out everywhere. Now my question is this type of malfunction related to the fact that i need to rebuild the top end. I was being told that because the rings are worn that the fuel is bypassing and going into the intake? or that there could be an issue with the reeds? Needless to say it was quite the messy surprise.

Thanks for the feed back I picked up a compression tool from auto zone and going to check it this weekend during my turkey coma. I also looked at top end rebuild kits ranging from 130-260 dollars. I see that a lot of guys use wiesco over others are they just a higher quality kit?

There is new spark plugs in it I pulled them and they are sparking. Air filters clean. I am not sure about the jetting, I cleaned the carbs at the beginning of the season bike ran perfectly for several trips, and from one trip to the next is when the problem occured. Would compression matter if it bump starts?

I have a 2002 Banshee mostly stock. Last seasons was my first season with it, and it was running fine for most of the season. Now I can not get it start by kicking it over. I can bump start it once it is warmed up i can turn it off and then kick start it, but that intitial start up it has to be bumped. I am not really sure where to start? Or even what to look for?

The guy put the knobbies on it for me, and I rode it this morning. I made the purchase ended up getting it for 2,000. The guy through in gas jug, helmet, gloves too. I feel good about the deal, and am looking forward to taking it out Thanksgiving.

I went and looked at this 2002 Yamaha Banshee. It has FMF Gold Series Pipes and K&N Air filter comes with knobbies and extra set of rims. The guy also showed me all recipets from about a week ago of getting carbs cleaned, suspension lubed, oil changed and plugs changed. He wants 2450 for it. I also made a video of it idling tell me what you think?
