    Domes for 4mil

I'm looking for 21cc and/or 22cc domes cut for 4mil. Need to fit Chariot head
  4. Hey Chris, you gonna be at the June 1st ride What about you 252wheelieking
  5. very interesting, I broke my 4mil long rod motor and I'm going back with a 4mil short. Can't help you with the crank. Can you help me with some 21cc domes for a chariot head?
  6. Never had any issues with 25 pilots on stock cylinders with T6 pipes and pods, BUT my carbs had air/fuel mixture screws for small adjustments. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
  7. Your porting on the cylinders looks good, but they need some more work for the +4 crank. With the +4 mil, your piston crown is going to be 2mm lower at BDC, so you need the cylinders port timing change. Intake, exhaust, transfers.
  8. Could it be your talking about adjusting pick-up coil? If so set the gap at .018/ .019

    cases

    found some cases, thanks
  10. Plugs should go in easy. Might have to pull the domes and check threads, maybe clean them up
  11. Windy, I needed that! Damn
  12. Your gonna see a lot of gain with the port and advanced timing
  13. If its a nice port job,I would use them till the last bore

looking for a set of cases
  15. 400 for a full rebuild, you can buy a brand new one for 450. 300 don't sound much better when i'll have to pay to have it checked out. I think I'm just gonna get some new mains and use a 4mil short rod that i have. I tried to do some trading with you on this crank for some CPI pipes, glad you declined now. lol Thanks for the heads up on the crank rebuild
  16. 4mil hotrods
  17. NO pics for you joksters. I felt like a pallbearer as I pushed her in the garage. I'm in mourning. Pastrykiller, can't a crank be rebuilt or is that a waste? I have one broke rod that I know. The crank turns freely, but is it still true?????????
  18. Yeah, you told me to park it. so I did for sunday and loaded up today to come home. When I got home my son was here and hadn't been on it since my 4mil build so I told him to check it out. well about 10 mins later and that was all shee wrote. Raptor 700, naw I got a 700xx slightly modded Gonna do another 4mil banshee. I hope my crank is still ok.(don't know how to check it) Can my local Yamaha shop check it for me, they do engine builds. If the crank is thrash, I got a vito's short rod i'm gonna use. Does the short rod take the standard piston?
  19. Yep, I think so
  20. Won't be feeding this one anything else. Its GONE! I thought 93 octane was good for up to 160/165 psi of comp. I look at the plugs several times this weekend, hell they were already loose and they were consistantly dark, dark brown to black, so I felt like my jetting was rich(320 main) at prolly 200ft Now I got a hole in the right side piston and a broke rod on the left side. A big ass hole in bottom case. Haven't gotten the crank out yet All this was caused by running too low octane?
  21. Sorry, I forgot. leakdown test was done a few times. Its good. Windy, are you asking for squish, if so it was .045
  22. First off, I'm not an engine builder, but with the help of a credit card and this forum I put together a +4mil, stock cylinder. The cylinders are not a fresh bore. I bought them with what looks to me like an aggressive drag port and was told for a 4mil. I put new crank with new piston/rings. Checked comp again today with warm engine and got 150/151 psi. Running coolhead with 20cc domes. 34mm mikuni TM's no crossover. Timing plate at +4 Including this weekend, The engine prolly has two tanks of fuel run thru it. 75% drag. It has absolutley no bottom end, but thats prolly the port job and 34mm carbs(I think). It runs very strong at the track. We run about 500ft. After 3 runs, the plugs are loose This is a totally different bike than what I had with stock crank, so I know I'm making power, plus I'm kicking asses that I couldn't before. When the guy with the can am 1000 got his ass handed to him, I was a happy ole man! Thanks fellows
  23. Came out to Busco this weekend. The shee is running strong. Friday the ole man was handing out asses to left and handing out asses to right. LOL Saturday there was 4 banshee's I couldn't do much with with. One guy had a cub built by F.A.S.T. One badass street bike and one canned ham. I beat a couple can-am 1000's. I'm backing plugs out though. FUCK. Rain today.
  24. Last time I checked comp was at 142 psi. I'm gonna go check it again. IF its around 140psi which should be fine on 93 octane, would you retard the timing to +2 or 0? Thanks
