Get a clymers repair manual has all the torque specs and a lot of pics for the tranny and clutch...well worth the money

The T5's will have more bottom end. The CPI's are more a mid and topend pipe.

Awhile back I bought a set of CPI inframes from Jeff @ F.A.S.T Racing, best guy ive delt with in a long time, anyway he placed my order at CPI well I recieved my pipes from UPS, the left head pipe was dented and scrached. So I called CPI they said put in a claim with UPS as damaged in transit goods, so I did then it was between CPI and UPS out of my hands at that time. My contact person was Ashley at CPI I had asked her how long it was going to take to get a headpipe back she really didnt know all she said was there was some at the chromer now. So I said I need a tracking # when they are shipped she took my E-Mail address everything was cool. I called her back probably two weeks later asking about my head pipe she said should be ready in a couple of days, I told her to get me a tracking # and again she asked me for my E-Mail that I thought she had. I kept looking on my E-Mail for a tracking # cause I was going on Vacation so I had my daughter to intercept my package so it wont sit on my porch for the world to have my pipe. Well 15 business days after UPS picked up the damaged pipe from my residence I have a package on my door step from CPI unannounced. If it were to show up one day later I would of been up in the Black Hills with a $200 head pipe sitting there for whoever to take. Now that it shows up I open the box right away to inspect it, less than 10 seconds of inspection I find a big dent on the verticle side in the very front starering me in the face. By this time CPI is closed for the day, so I call Ashley the next day first thing on my way to S. Dakota in the morning wednesday. I was still PISSED OFF so I tell her what I found and told her of the waiting for the second pipe and where was the E-Mail for the tracking # she said she mailed it to me...Hell I told her twice of my E-Mail with no reply. So then The Million Dollar question, I asked her....Does anybody do any QUALITY CONTROL work before things are shipped she said "Yes I do, I check them before they are sent" with an attitude. I call B.S. she took from one box and put in another without even checking the product. So here again I have no complete set of pipes I wait and wonder what will come of it this time. Im done ranting, just dont let people bend you over like this. If I were Ashley my boss would of ate my ass up one side down the other.

To be robbed of all that...WOW...Sorry to hear of your loss hope you can locate your belongings. The justice system wouldnt have enough concequenses for the people if caught. Get the porting done and yes yes yes FORGED PISTONS you dont need to shatter a piston skirt from the WOT. Weisco's are what I run and have absolutly no probs with them

Im gonna have a real clean set of T5's ready to bolt on with springs and O-ring on the head pipe with upper gasket and clamps. These pipes are not beat to shit or BLUED like most sold, I just need to figure a price for em then I'll let you know. -

AV gas is designed for High altitudes IE. Airplanes...I would not run that stuff in my Banshee, my real question is why spend the $ for the scent of the spent fuel. It has no performance benefits for a OEM headed Banshee if anything probably hurts performance it burns to slow with no advanced timing.

Ive got both 04 Banshee and 06 Raptor....Banshee is a blast to drag race and then the Raptor is a monster on the trails or to climb razors in Oky torque monster very fun also...cant go wrong with either

Just what Finch said exactly....on my dune port motor I was making 65hp with stock 26mm carbs so thats one investment you really dont need to make....you want power port your motor a good builder will tell you what other parts needed with a port job to get the power you are looking for -
Thanks Finch for your insite on the regulator Im thinking i dont need to splice the thumb kill and the key switch leads but each has a wire running to the CDI hell idk....how bout it guys

Cleaning up wire harness on 2004 Banshee... ok guys ive deleted all my lighting and old tors plugs so my questions are #1 can I take my voltage regulator off and delete it #2 Im taking off the light switch engine kill switch off my bars to use the key switch is that going to work for a kill switch #3 there is a wire from the kill switch on my bars to the CDI box, do I need to splice it with my key switch or just clip and seal it off. Again I have no lighting or tors just making sure I am not taking too much off...Thanks for any input you can give me

Wow you guys have my head spinning. Im currently running VF3's and was really wanting to know if the VF4's are a better Reed. Im running a Dune Port bike gonna put a new set of CPI inframes on it Im courious how better the 4's would perfom if any than my 3's. From what I see, it looks that the 4's have more upper midrange power over the 3's so would it be noticed in my mild ported motor. Ive tore the motor completely down replacing the crank with a Hot Rods and like I said CPI pipes also. More power is what Im looking for and the Reed discussion makes me courious. I really dont know if the $200 VF4 is where I need to go.
