Ya. I lost to a handful of 450s. The difference is it cost them a lot more money to get there and for a small investment I am certain I could be out front again.

I built my motor two years ago and have been very happy with it. After two years I want a little more... My buddy has built up is YFZ and now I need to step it up. Here is what I got so far: 421 Serval Noss head with FAST 24CC domes 35MM Kehin Carbs (160 mains, 48 pilots, CEL needle in middle clip) VForce 4 UPP Intakes with stock crossover tube Snipe Pipes FAST Clutch Mattoon Timing plate @ +4 94 Octane gas with Klotz R50 Would I benefit from smaller domes, race gas, porting and 39 mm carbs? What kind of gains would I expect?

Two years ago I started my build. I did a fair amount of research and landed with a 421 Serval from Jeff. The bike went together great and I have been extremely happy thus far. Along the way I encountered a few hiccups, as most do, and each time Jeff and his team were there to support in any way possible. We have many different vendors to choose from and am extremely glad I chose the team at FAST. If you are looking for not only competitive prices but above and beyond service the choice is easy.

tried new float valves, polished the seat with toothpaste, vent stem is fine...... at a complete loss.... Coil tests weak. Any chance this could be related to a weak spark? I am also getting excess smoke and oil from my exhaust as if the machine is rich but I am jetting at 45 pilot and 150 main....

Hello, I am having a battle with my Keihin PWKs and they are winning.... I purchased these new and having issues with fuel coming out of the overfill line on the bottom of the fuel bowl. I have set my floats and even went as far setting the level below the spec but still get a small amount leaking. This does not happen when sitting but more so when running. When idling and giving the throttle a few shots of gas the fuel slowly bubbles out. In a 3 minute period I had a fist size stain on the garage floor from each carb. What could it be???? I have tried the hose trick by blowing air through the fuel line with my mouth and with the floats closed I cannot blow through. With only being two years old I cant see the float need being worn? I cant feel them binding or rubbing on anything... I am at a loss.... HELP!!!!

Hey guys, Need some help, took my shee out for its first big ride since my build and have some quirks to work out. Since I had it dyno'd I dropped the mains to 160s and the plug looks better. My issue currently is a small bog just before powerband kicks in. I notice it the most when cruising around in third then trying to open it up. The bike gets hung up then cleans up if I stab the throttle. I am going to assume the needle is lean but thought I would ask here first. Here is the build list: 421 Serval Noss head with FAST 24CC domes 35MM Kehin Carbs (160 mains, 50 pilots, CEL needle in middle clip) VForce 4 UPP Intakes with stock crossover tube FAST Pod ait filters with outerwears FMF Fattys (will upgrade next year) FAST Clutch Mattoon Timing plate @ +4 Mull Billet water pump gear Chariot Billet Impeller 94 Octane gas with Klotz R50

Hey Group, I am looking to buy Shearers for my 421 Serval build. Thing is I want to do something different. I have no chrome on the bike and do not desire any. I want zero bling and looking for more of a sleeper looks (besides the +6 swingarm). Talking with my builder he doesnt like the sound of powder coating the pipes but wanted to hear your thoughts. I know R2's come in black. How are they coated? Does it hold up? Thanks a bunch!

Hey, In the process of doing a 421 serval and starting to slowly build a pile of parts. For those that are experienced Banshee rebuilders what should I be replacing while the motor is apart. I see things like water pump bearings, idler gear bushings and so one. Should I just replace as needed or are there some ones you always replace? My motor is not that old or have that much wear but I dont plan on pulling it apart again for some time. thanks

Hello, Wanting to build a 421 Serval but don't think I can afford to do a complete build currently. Was thinking about doing the motor now and run it with my stock carbs with airbox and current FMF pipes. If tuned correctly will this harm the motor at all? What kind of power potential would this motor make? Eventually I would like to run Shearer, 35 PWKs and pods but the pocket book is a lil tight.

Need a chain for my +6 swing arm running stock gearing. Will I need to order it by the foot and if so do any sponsors sell it like that?
