  1. Might as well go 18 or 20dm. Is there a reason why you are going just 14?
  2. It doesn't. Just something I noticed
  3. Welcome. I'm sure some people will buy the pipes. The more pics the better. This isn't the normal Internet forum btw. Anyone else notice that the font size was the same as BVC post? Maybe just to grab people's attention? Idk but welcome aboard
  4. Bought my stage 5 Elka's from bill at BVC. Great guy to deal with. Buy with confidence.
  5. Yup had to take some material off the wrench also for my buddy's cub cylinders. Worked like a charm
  6. Ok then try those jets and check the plugs. See how it runs
  7. pretty sure they can. when i was talking to cam awhile ago i was asking him how big could we go on the dm cylinders and im pretty sure he said up to a 32mm crank. i dont see any reason why they cant make you a smerval for a bigger crank. might take some time to get the cylinder though
  8. ^ hahahha. Nice....
  9. Forget what the owner said find out for yourself. Take the carbs apart and look
  10. If your doing sand riding I would just ditch the air box all together and go with pods and outerwears unless you plan to drive the quad into a river... I trail ride my bike and run pods. You shouldn't have any issues with pods. Let the bike breath and rejet accordingly for the pods
  11. Agreed for the most part. You can find some good parts on eBay but most of the stuff isn't that great
  12. Never trust anyone except a good site sponsor or some of the hq members with good feedback
  13. I don't get why some of you guys wanna mud bog with your banshee. I understand that sometimes you gotta go through some water and or mud but you don't gotta go through it at 50mph. IMO pods is the way to go and if your still worried about it do what the others said and make a little water flap. Your gonna loose out on power with either box
  14. Tell your buddy to send his motor to a site sponsor if he wants a bigger engine
  15. JD made skid plates for my lsr +2+1 a arms ( not long travel ). I'm almost postive the skid plates would work on these arms also if your looking to protect them. They work on lsr, full flight and another no name brand my friend had.
  16. Are the dirt trails technical? The bigger carbs will give you a little more top end. If it's fast wide open trails then def use the bigger ones. You could prob run 25 pilots in the summer but i would go 27.5. Try a 330 main and do a plug chop. That will tell you if it's rich, lean Ect
  17. Need more info. What kind of riding are you going to be doing? What temp? Any more mods? I would get a adjustable timing plate and put it +4. Who did the port work on the cylinders? They should know best. On my 4 mil dune port stock cylinder bike I had awhile ago with stock carbs, shearers, I had 27.5 pilot. 340 mains 1.5 on air screw stock needle mid clip. That was in the summer. Not sure what you mean by small port
  18. Cylinder, reeds, manifold. Yes you can still use your reeds. Why are you looking into a 2 into 1? No purpose IMO
  19. Pm sent. Send them to my email and ill post them
  20. Welcome. I'm sure you'll love the 10mil
