  1. ok thanks guys. i will look into that either tomorrow or later in the week and will let you know what happens.
  2. yes gauge is same length as threads. bought new. they are pro design 21 cc domes. and idk what you mean by squish. sorry.
  3. anyone have any ideas? i dont want to buy a top end kit if thats not the problem.
  4. just got done double checking everything and everything was where/what its needs to be. i guess its the piston rings. you think with the high compression needed that the rings are bad with the cool head but was able to supply enough for the stock head? thats the only thing i can think of.
  5. thats where i messed up. did not check compression til after because i went to get the gauge after i put the cool head on to check i had the right compression. but it ran its balls off before the cool head and only took a couple of kicks to get it to run. also i did notice it might be leaking a bit of coolent between the head and cylinders. so i guess maybe one of the orings came out of its groove during installation. head is torqued to specs tho so idk if the coolent i see is from when i put new back in and spilled some.
  6. hey ya'll. ill give you my specs first. 2002 banshee t5's boyeson pro series reeds jetted K&n chariot cool head 21cc 500ft elevation. +/- 100 i just got done putting my cool head on not too long ago with 21 cc domes. i did my compression test and in each cyclinder im right around 120 psi. on noss website it should be around 156. i did this test on a cold engine with throttle wot and kicked til the needle leveled out. my other problem is that i cant get it to run at all. kicked it a bunch of times, nothing. tried pop starting it and got it to run for a little bit but died moments later. both spark plugs have spark, its getting fuel. im just stuck right now and not sure what to do. take the head off and check the o-rings? any help appreciated. thanks.
  7. found out the problem. the problem was i am a dumbass and forgot to put the vacuum tube back on that connects the carbs. but she runs great now. thanks for the help.
  8. def. was not the issue. i really dont know what can be wrong with it. maybe pilot? but i think it s bs that toomey says you can use stock pilot.
  9. just saw a setup like mine in that thread except he has his needle on the third groove. im gonna try that out and see what happens.
  10. it wont idle at all. when i let it cool down and zip down the road the pipes get hotter alot faster then they used too. checked the plugs and its not running lean. if anything it looks like it might be too rich. and the toomey instructions said i can use stock pilot. im gonna go check for air leaks around the reeds. also i didnt put the stock brass reed stops in. was i supposed to? the boysen ones came with a thin brass strip that i thought replaced the olds one.
  11. im at roughly 500 ft and toomey said the 280's are good through 2000 ft. would it be the idle screws on my TORS? really need some help.
  12. oh sorry about that. i got 280's and the clip is on the 4th groove on the needle. stock pilot, air screw 1.5 turns out. and boysen pro series reeds. stock reed housing.
  13. hey guys. just got done putting in a new pivot bolt (worst thing in my entire life) and i decided to get some toomey t5's to put on it while it was sitting idle. finally got everything together today and i could not get it to start. had to roll start it down a hill and even then it really didnt want to run. when it does run tho the throttle seems like it sticks and it runs hot. did all of the jetting correctly and made sure the slides are on the right side and facing the right direction. and right now im kinda stumped. help please.
  14. just ordered t5's from them last week from their ebay store. i think the son that runs it is on vacation or something like that. i cant remember.

    ASR A-Arms?

out of full flight, armadillo, ASR and wicked, which do most people prefer? thos are the ones im looking at and the full flights and ASR are more appealing money wise. im on a budget but looking for something with 1) warranty and 2) less issues/problems with product AKA quality.

are they any good? ive seen them on ebay for the same price roughly as full flights but yet they have ball joints instead of heims. sorry if this was brought up already.
