  1. +1 sounds like the gap for pick up coil is to large.
  2. 88rover, where do you ride? that will help us help you. and how fast do you want to go, and keep it a trail bike?
  3. strait coolant does not cool as good, it doesn't transfer the heat as good it is designed to mix.
  4. you should always use 50/50 unless the antifreeze comes premixed,
  5. toyota longlife coolant, b cool coolant, honda coolant, they all a great coolants that do not have the silicates in them to to sand bast the waterpump impeller. there are others too.

  7. my rm stator run the lights one time. have a running issue and beleive the stator is the problem. I'm getting a Racetech stator, the guys that tested them on here say they are great, with not a one failing during testing. they have the good picup coils on them, not the cheap ones like rm stators.
  8. If you ever rode motocross you might have a different opinion, the twin carbs can be hell on you thumb. It takes a lot more spring to return 2 carbs back to idle.
  9. do a leak down test.
  10. some guys running motocross like the single carb. most others do not.
  11. backload is when you let off the throttle and use the engine to slow the quad down, or down shift to slow it down, some is ok but not to much.
  12. I like mine. but you have to becarful not to backload it to much.
  13. camatv does a good stock trans, that will shift. I went with a duneable overide though, from hjr works great.
  14. I would get a hot rods from Jeff at fast, for a few extra bucks he checks it and does a nicer weld.

  16. what are the pro's and con's on going to a no link rear shock setup for a duner drag quad ?
  17. cal Jeff a t fast racing. he will stear you in the right direction and sell you the parts you need for your build. get it ported or don't waist your money on a crank. been there done that, do it once do it right.

  20. I have 15 41 on my ported 4mil with 21x11x9 10 paddle haulers. with a 1-5 duneable trans.
  21. talk to Jeff at FAST racing for all your motor work and parts. great guy and he will ask all the right questions to point you in the right direction for you.
  22. elka's go as big a motor as you can afford, but don't foget about tires. or suspension, longer swing arm. pipes, carbs. talk to MattSCSS on here for shocks a 421 cub would be a great motor for a duner.
