  1. hi all thanks for the replies they have been very helpful. I have done the ohms test on all electrical components and everything is in spec. Im going to look into the stator and fly wheel some more tomorrow and check for the pickup to flywheel clearances aswell. If all else fails and I do purchase a new stator what is the best route to go down as I hear that the ricky stator ones arent the best.
  2. Hi all i have purchased a 2006 banshee that was not running. The old owner was told it was a coil. He replaced it and still no go. It was then sold onto me for a fair price. After talking to a so called expert on yammies I replaced the cdi with no luck. I checked the resistance of the coil and the primary coil was shagged. So now we are at my current delimar. I removed and checked the stator, very rusted but resistance was spot on. I have replaced the cdi coil and plugs. So now when i kick it it gives off a spark every 8 or so kick but very light. I towed it behing my car poping the clutch but it just putts a bit then dies. no throttle response at all. Please can someone help this thing is really killing me and i would love to finally go for a ride. cheers all
