  1. what the hell are you talking about? so youve got a stock stroke crank and a stock stroke cub cylinder and you want to go to a 4mm 115rod crank, use blaster pistons and run or cut 22cc domes. adding the 4mm crank pushes the piston up 2mm more then stock, then add another 5mm for the 115 rod, so your piston is going up 7mm higher then before, add in the blaster piston that has a 6mm higher pin height, so know your piston is only 1mm higher then with your stock setup... sounds like you could just cut the dome a lil deeper and eveything will line up and be good to go right?...... sure but all your port timings are going to be way off. bottom line is you need to get a new cylinder and crank, then use your blaster pistons and 22cc domes.
  2. no way no how. you need a new cylinder/crank/piston/domes
  3. what are you even asking? blasters pistons stop at 68.25 you saying the bore is already 68.50... so blaster pistons are out of the question. you mention a trinty 70mm piston, whats it for? is it the same pin height as a blaster? is it a trex piston? if you had a trex flat top 9521P68-70mm piston in before and try to run any piston with a domed top your in for trouble. like said above you need to send your stuff to a builder that knows what they are doing if you want the right combo of crank, piston, dome, cylinder.
  4. a blasters final bore is 68.25 573mo6825, if your already at 68.50 then some other piston combo is going to be needed.
  5. ill pay you $1000 for the front only off a 2010 but youve gotta have pics up in the next half hour
  6. doesnt look like im going to make it either be the first memorial ive missed in atleast 4 years
  7. vitos carries 9* and 13* domes for the different pistons that are out there in those dome angles. a wsm 68mm stock stroke piston has a 13* angle some of the older stock stroke vitos 68mm pistons were 13* also now they have 3 newer pistons all with 9* angles, a stock stroke 68mm 9*, a 2mm offset pin height 68mm piston with 9* angle for 4mm 110mm rod cranks, and a 6mm offset piston(just like a blaster 573mo6800) with a 9* angle for the 115mm rod. haveing a 115mm rod narrows it down, you have either a 573mo6800 wiseco or a vitos 6mm offset piston in 68mm.
  8. do you know if you have a 4mm 110mm or 115mm rod? or check the piston number
  9. not planet sand*
  10. i run a driveline lockup in my 55hp stock bike, works great. you can run the softer springs and itll still hold. the lockup will also extend the life of your clutches as well. i run that same lockup in my drag bike i got 3 years out of my last driveline clutch with the lockup on 100+hp bike.
  11. the vforce 2 reed is the best flowing reed for any size engine... i put the best parts money can buy on my bikes and if you can get the 2's cheaper it would be a no brainer to me
  12. yah sumthing dont add up here
  13. i knew off the rip that ken oconner was a joke
  14. mikeihin is a popular carb down south, never seen one in person but i bet they rip.
  15. did you buy the carbs new? maybe theres a chance the dump tubes were drilled out for methanol?
  16. repair,i wouldnt use a hack saw but.... take the choke out, there will be 2 notches on the choke shaft, they get rounded off, get a small file and touch them up.
  17. sold.. thank you liveforlife
  18. vitos stock stroke cylinders 68mm bore, nikasil plated, stock length head studs, water jacket plugs. also have a set of 24cc pump gas domes and 68mm wsm pistons. setup was ran only for a few hours the pistons show signs wear on the intake bridges but are serviceable. <--- that is the 392 setup. it could be turned into a 421 4mm by adding a different set of pistons and adding a spacer plate or cut 4mm domes. $250 plus shipping
  19. so you would mix match pistons and rings if you could find it cheaper? just buy the piston that belongs in it, a vitos c404-p2 and rings to match. and if you dont like that option you could buy 2 wsm standard pin height 68.5's at $120~ each
  20. Permatex 513 anarobic imo it is easier to apply and remove from cases, and doesn't start to harden up until the cases are put together.
  21. Loose/tight tolerances, cheap bearings, tiny tac welds after the crank has been assembled. Straight from wsm. They maybe fine as a stock replacement crank but last I checked stock was 36hp and not a 10mm stroke.
  22. Not denny wang cranks, they are wsm cranks and very cheaply made.
  23. theres 25k there easy... poured concrete drive, two car garage, small john boat with trailer, small suv, oh and a stock looking banshee
