do u have stock carb. with 380 mains pal and may i ask u what do u mean by change the durations?

sorry man i got mistake above topic, i do not have 2mm hed gasket i have gasket under cyli. only i set upT6 pipe and pro design cool heed with 22+2mm dooms , 280 jet, one cyli. is 190 psi the other 180 psi , do you thing t6 pipe work well ?

the vertx piston witch i installed not required 2mm spacers under cyls , 2mm head gasket is exising and coolhead with stroker domes cut 2mm.

wonderful suggestions that you give gents, I will read and tray understand more and more before attempting to port my 66.5mm cylinders bore, I will consider that is the last bore size for my cylinders, thanks, best regard

Hello again every body no the wither is going better in my place yesterday I decided to do buy air die grinder and start to port the charge inlet and discharge out let of my 4mil shee cyl. but before I do that I want to know exacts setup for the porting job I tray go to Google looking for information I found some pictures for 2 stork before and after porting without damnations on it I think that is not enough I know there is so deferent kind of porting job t so if you can help me to add hp I will be very grateful.

hi I hoop you guys all ok ! before when I m racing at the dyne I use to start accelerate with 2nd gear then 3rd with stuck engine now I got build 4mill engine ,I like to start accelerate with 3rd gear because it is faster ! what do you guys think is it possible to do that every time ? thanks

wow i it is ok now I found an fix the problem ,reason why, since i build my 4mil motor I use to run it every day for 1 hrs in idle in order to sit up the new motor and there was oil build up in the pipe coming from long time motor idle and that oil cause the motor to stop and gets hesitation when ever I run it and touch the throttle little but now as i said it is strong and runner. Sounds like you got a great combo going on , I will get my compression gauge and test then I will inform you guys about the details result of my bike testingThank you guys for your fast replay and useful feed back

problem that When I start the motor warm up 5 min then I touch the throttle little, the motor stop and I think it gets hesitation, revving high, I start it up with the choke "on" also the motor stop I tray to adjust the air screw ,go for smaller pilot jet move the needle jet up and down but it get bad-[censored] ? I know I have some thing wrong with the jetting or exhaust and it will take some time to be fixed!

I done my 4mil shee rebuild and this is the first time I rebuild bike such shee before I rebuild it was working well with toomey T6 exhaust pipe , 2 K&N w/out the airbox air filter cool head pre design, 22cc domes stuck carb., with 300 main jet ,long jet needle with the 5th groove, pilot jet 27.5 the elevation 1968 fit wither temp 80-90 F Now guys if you have any suggestion or comments about my build pleas tell me Pleas note my rebuild is boring cylinder for 66.5 vertex piston install 4mil cranck shaft 5mm long rod and cut dooms 22+2mm I did not do any porting for cylinder gas intake or cylinder exhaust discharge so what you suggest guys for me ? best regaurd.

Thanks for feed back If I m not wrong 22cc dooms for low pressure therefore more cool for the engine!

Yesterday I have done my New rebuild shee engine, hot rod 4mill crank shaft long rod with 2 vertex piston size 250, 22cc cut domes , cool head pro design ,toomey t-6 exhaust, 2 K&N w/out the airbox , stuck carb.,290 main jet ,long needle the elevation 1968 fit What you guys suggest exercising the new engine now ?

guys ,thank you very match about the information , I m speculating that ring is to reduce the het exchange and friction between the piston and the ring! Put I do not know about the working life of that extra ring? really hot rods company did not put any little information on the box I have try to contact them but there was no chance to reach the technical support in charge person? I know they are busy! Any how it is ok I got the information need from the nice members of this great forum and I will let you guys know about the improvement of my project as well.

Well guys i think it is vertex piston, I was thinking up and down measuring my new piston I found out the are the same height and depth of the new piston second ring groove is 4mm ,the thickness of the piston ring 2.5mm, thickness of the soft zigzag ring is 1.2 so( 2.5 + 1.5 =4MM) so due to above measutment logically the soft ring will be fixed under the second ring i think in order to reduce the het exchange between the piston and the ring and i decided i will try it.

no dear the soft ring not an o ring it is steel and I think it will fit under the second ring ,any how i will contct hot rod to make sure! one more thing guys any body know what is the clearanc i m the tolerance size in metric betwen the new piston and cylinder ! is it the same with yamaha recommend 0.060mm - 0.065mm or different size ? Any information would be helpful thank you

in order to build shee 4mm engine I received 5mm long rod 4mm stacker crank shaft from hot rods include 2 set of pistons size 66.5, I m confusing about the hot rod piston! it has tow grooves, and three piston rings of etch set and one of them is soft ! where is the soft ring will fit ? is it fit under the hard ring ? or it is for another model of ATV i m really don’t know there is no information written on the box of the cylinders. thanks

Thank you My dears about the information , but when I m ordering my 4mil long rod the hot rod company give options of pistons as follow 379cc 64.5mm bore 385cc 65mm bore 391cc 65.5mm bore 397cc 66mm bore 403cc 66.5mm bore and they asked me to choice one or that, I thought the best bore is 66.5mm because it will give 403cc and the hot rod company did not mentioned about the over heating any things ,right now I run cool head with domes 22cc ,290 man jet stock carb. do you think it will overheat if I go for 403cc 66.5mm pistons with 4mil stroke if so what is the good one and pleas note that I m in Saudi Arabia Riyadh city maximum Wither temperature in summer 56 centigrade and the minimum is 23 maximum Wither temperature in winter 26 centigrade and the minimum is 12 thanks

hello every body , as I said I m new in rebuilding and I will order the my 4mil parts from America pleas I want to know if piston size 66.5 can be fit and work with banshee stock cylinders? if not what is the best size of piston fit to banshee stock cylinders and that piston can work with 4mil crank shaft long rod ? thanks

Yes dear I m from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia I m working as maintenance supervisor and I have nice friends from America and , Europe, we are all working in the same place , Thanks man I will tray to quote 4mill in Riyadh first .
