Not on the wrong forum, TRX protrax swingarm will not fit a banshee protrax. I know this for a fact. The TRX uses an off set shock mount and the pivots are different. The Leagers uses a factory banshee bolt and banshee round carrier. The protrax also has the wrong track for the chain, the sprockets do not line up. Still need a Protrax Banshee Swingarm or anyone who can make one up.

I am not sure which toomey;s they are, but I believe they are T3 or T4 they are not T5s. If you want a picture send me your email address and I will shoot you a picture of them

The laeger frame is far better. It uses 250R front angle suspension, with T-spindles, which make it very easy to turn no matter how much pressure is on the front end. No bind on anywere on the suspension as they do not use ball joints. The rear shock is out of a CR500 modified works shock and can give you any were between 11 - 13 inches of travel. This quad was designed by Marc Laeger and is today even one of the best set up ever. I have one that I built in 95 and yes it is pricey but well worth it. Won lot of races with it. Very hard to find one used, no one will let thiers go. New frame from Scott at Laegers is around $8500. Comes with steering stem, a arms, spindles, tie rods, rear swign arm. Power coated. I have two banshees and both are set up very similar set up. Stock cylinders, aftermarket reeds, FMF Gold Series pipes, stock air box with snorkle removed. I run 290 Jets. Carbs are sync correctly. They have TORS removed. Aftermarket idle screws set up. I can not get the motor to idle. If I adjust the throttle cable it will idle, but I can not get it to idle without tightening the cables. The idle screws are all the way in. I have checked the small jet and it is clear. Should I put a larger idle jet in? Or am I missing something. Thanks in advance. David

I use half links all the time, since the early 90s The problem is they are not available for oring chains. You can only get them for non oring chain. I have a Laegers frame banshee and a 93 stock frame. I have half links in both. I think its the gearing you are running. I ran 15 / 40 for years and ran into the adjustment issue. Replace the chain with non oring and install the half link.

I bought a Laegers frame back in 95. Mark Laeger built mine long before he sold out. My banshee was built using all of the banshee components. You do need different shocks which are very expensive. You will need to use brakes from a like 93 model. The rear uses a round housing with the factory caliper. I raced it D38 and in Tecate Mexico. I have one overall in 97 with it. Very stable and fast. I had this in storage in 2001 had some items stolen. Engine and rear end were stolen. I have recently rebuilt it and getting ready to take it out in 10 days.
