  1. Yes. please show pics, because i dont think it fits...Need help in relocation.
  2. Its like impossible to get the front two mounts to pull into the nipples and then get the two bolts in the back....It simply wont fit!

  5. I knew there was something wrong. I put reed spacers on and it came with stock length bolts. I should have known to go get longer bolts.
  6. Are you talking about the tie rods? If so, smack the side of them with a hammer. It will fall right out.
  7. Should i use any type of washers?
  8. A little over an 1/8 mile.
  9. My buddy has a 1989 250r, stock cylinder, 4mm stroker crank, cool head, HUGE head pipe with silcencer, 18" mx tires and 8" rims, reeds, aggressive port work, and a big carb. All my mods are listed.
  10. So a longer bolt and some blue loctite should fix me up?
  11. Do i just make the center nipples the normal vent tubes or do i have to connect them as a crossover hose? Looks like just the vent lines on left and right side of carbs like stockers...
  12. Check the boots at the spark plugs.
  13. I stripped a bolt on the upper outside passenger side when putting my new intakes and reed spacers on last night. They came with new bolts, which were the same length as stock. Very little threads were holding it all in. So i think if I get a longer bolt, i should be ok and not have to drill tap helicoil. Should i be using any sort of washers or thread locker on the others also? Thoughts?
  14. Whats the link for the ebay auction?
  15. I have a similar setup to yours, and I do have CPI Pipes. Im going from a 13 tooth front sprocket up to a 15 tooth front sprocket. Also, Im going from stock carbs to 34 PJ's. I hear it should be a crazy increase.
  16. So you can run spacers before or after reeds? There is not a normal way to put them on?
  17. How about seat of the pants when you went from stock carbs to big carbs?
  18. Did you noticed a performance gain?
  19. I have heard of them running spacers, reeds, and intakes. Supposedly Jeff at fast stated it lengthens the reed channel and will give more hp. This true?
  20. Do i install them first, then the reeds, then the intakes? or the reeds, then the spacers, then the intakes?
  21. Just work the clutch a little more, and you'll be fine. I have that setup and if you stay in the powerband it runs fine. It's not a four stroke. It takes a little more work to ride, but it can be done.
  22. sold. send me a pm for payment. $80 shipped.
  23. Banshees simply don't have a lot of bottom end. 91 -93 pump gas is fine. Stock sprocket in front is 14. If you want a little more bottom end, less gear put a 13 in the front then.
  24. If you're using stock carbs, 200's are WAY WAY too lean. Try 320's around there. Also stock carbs on a ported long rod setup are causing you loss of power. Get bigger carbs.
  25. Banshees don't have bottom end really. Depending on the pipes, the power band will come on; "wailing like a banshee". It also takes a lot to pull in 6th, you need a lot of room; which may be why you're downshifting.
