  1. Can someone at least post the length of the idle screw? Im heading out of town later today and it would be best to get all the parts here.
  2. Thanks sleeper. BUt with the cost of shipping and import taxes, the total is more than I can boot right now. I went searching for the tap today and I couldn't find a 6mmx.75 only found a 6mmx1.0. Do you guys think this is too spaced of a thread for this purpose?
  3. Im down in Mexico and I cant get a hold of a TORS removal kit. I was thinking of buying the parts to make my own but I have some questions. I got the size of the drill bit and tap for the idle screw from here but I dont know the size of the idle screw itself. I know the part number from Mikuni is V24/224. Can someone please provide the specs of the screw specially the length? Also, do you think I can get the stock throttle cable to work after I remove the TORS? The cables already have adjuster nuts where they hook up to the TORS so would it be to just get the metal curved sleeve to keep them from binding? All ideas are welcome as I just want to get my shee running for July 4th weekend.
  4. We have a farm with some tractors so I always have John Deere Chain and Cable lubricant spray. I use that before every ride. No stickiness but really thick and I never have any gunk on the chain even though I ride thru mud and loose dirt all the time.
  5. I need new tires and I'm set on the Holeshot HDs because I want all the wear I can get. I dont want to change the stock front tire so no HDs for the front. I was think GNCCs for great tracking or TracStar for longer wearing since they are more of a square shape. But I also want the most traction I can get. Can someone that has used either of these let me know how well they wear and how they perform, specially the TracStars. I ride mostly hard trails with a lot of loose rocks and windy turns. I ride about 1-2 weekends a month for about 4-8 hours each. I would be happy to get at least 2-3 years out of them.
  6. Hey madjimmax, I'll send you the pics today after work. I left them at home. Thanks.

  8. It turned out to be that the carbs were unsynched after rebuilding. Pretty basic but it is the first time I rebuild any carb, let alone a banshee. Thanks for the help guys.
  9. I loosened the cable and checked it from throttle to carbs and it looks good. I also checked the slides thru the air intake and they don`t seem to be sticking.
  10. BTW, I have all stock except proflow with k&n and DMC pipes.
  11. So im having this problem where the idle is perfect and as soon as touch the throttle even at 1/4 it feels like its at WOT. I cleaned and rebuilt the carbs and checked the reed valves. Everything seems to be fine. I still have the TORS but I took off the parking brake and the cut the TORS wires a long time ago. Any ideas besides an air leak??? It was running near perfect last weekend.
  12. I have some Blaster parts lying around and I need cash to get my Banshee up and running. Prices negotiable so please PM with any offers. CPI full ehxaust in good condition - $200 240 Big Bore Kit - $200 only includes cylinder head and cylinder, 15 hours of use PM me for pics or offers.
  13. Sorry for bringing this up after 2 months but I really like the look of those Pro Tapers on your banshee. I was just wondering what bend they are and if you have stock stem with clamp. If you have more pictures feel free to post them. Thanks.
