I need to know how much to cut off a stock head for a 4mill HOTROD long crank to fit without the spacer plate gasket they send with the kit??
engine will be ran on alcohol so i want it tight........and the head has already been shaved .030
HAS anyone ever done a test to see if a drag axle really lowers your E.T Times ?
had one guy tell me he went from 7.20's to 6.90's when he which but i find that hard to believe!

stock cylinder 4mils is a good run for me
it runs 6.80's at 97mph after some changes i made to it
i took them back to the guy that did the work and he said they should make aleast 80hp on gas with a 4mil crank
i he said my jetting was probably off :ermm:
so he refused when i ask for my money back
i already have another set of cylinder on the bike and it runs alot better
he said if i did not like the port job i could just resleeve the cylinders and have them done over.
it came with a override.........the drum that is pictured above mine looks like the grooves are not cut as wide.
does anyone have a drum for sale.OR a GOOD override tranny for sale ?
ITS no joke,i had another set of cylinders that i cleaned up the intake and exhaust and it runs alot better now.
the guy that ported the ones pictured were done by a guy that has a banshee that runs 5.90's in 1/8mile so i figured he new his stuff.
these cylinder did run good bottom to mid but would fall up top...would not rev out
that may be the problem cause there is only one thats on the right.
where can i get the springs that are needed......i hope thats the problem because this is alot of work splitting those cases!!

also there is a spring on the shaft that holds the forks in place.......the spring is on the side closest to the clutch....is that the correct side for that spring to be ?
does a override have to have the drum cut also to work or can the stock drum work if the dog ears are cut ?
i have one here that just won't shift into 4th without trouble.....its suppose to be a 1-3 M 4TH but its not working
i think the drum is the problem because there is nothing wrong with the gears or forks.
so i want to try a stock drum IF it will work.
