  1. I think theres more power gains from stroking
  2. everything looks brand new other than the welding.
  3. theres a guy in my area that has played with compression (track test) and with 185psi he went 6.50's in 1/8mile and with 220-230pis he went 6.20's so id say what works for some maybe not work for others...... i hear people say all the time about running to much comp slows you down, but he made me a believer that thats just not true. look at it like this 185 = 100hp at 9000rpms 230 = 120hp at 8500rpms who you think will win...........not to mention the 230psi will come out the hole harder.
  4. its not my bike,i installed it for someone and it feels like it never really gets into the pipe....doesn't really scream!! like most pipes do.
  5. hey i can't find any info on the trinity stage 4 pipes,so has anyone on here ran them,is it a good performing pipe?
  6. so far it seem to be the best plugs ive tried....B9EGV's gives better throttle response than all the others.
  7. it was sputtering on topend with all the plugs except the b9egv plugs its a stock cylinder 4mill with 35mm on race gas timing on +7 with 180psi trinity pipes
  8. alot of fouled plugs
  9. heres one with the blue
  10. i had some plug trouble today and i found that the b8 plugs are not very good,i fouled alot of them while breaking in a motor. so i tried some b9 and it seems to be working good. i have to different kind of b9,s but i dont know the difference other than the GV at the end now the question, whats the difference in these plugs.........the blue label KGK plugs seem to also last alot longer. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN B9E AND B9EGV

  12. I got i 6 speed override that won't shift unless you go slow so i took it apart and two of the dog ears are welded then grind on a slant. should there be any welding on the ears of a 6 speed override ??
  13. you were right on the money!!
  14. no damage, there out and the correct ones are on the way
  15. the owner called wicked and found that they sent the wrong piston. these are for a 4mil,not a stock stroke. guess i found another side effect of tooo loose squish.
  16. OK.........I checked the compression and it was 55psi on both cylinders with 17cc domes.........sooo the head came off and this is what i found.
  17. already tried that, also i checked the reeds. i can't think of anything that i have not checked.
  18. I rebuilt a stock stroke cub and now it won't run, only starts then back fires and bog out!!!! i tried a different STATOR/CDI/FLYWHEEL/COIL/and 8 different plugs....and it still did the same thing.....start up backfire out both pipes bog and shut down. i can't figure this one out. any thoughts ???
  19. whats the price on a 10mil crank ? and i have some 4mil cub cylinder now,can i just have a plate made for them or will i HAVE to buy new cylinders?
  20. I Have a new hotrod 4mil with a bent rod, what i'd like to know is can i sent it to crankworks and have it stroked to a 10mil instead of just fixing the bent rod ? also i hear people say that boring a stock cylinder is not really worth the gains, well if thats true then if that true why do they go so big on the bore with the CUBs and DM's ..... i've seen where a DM had a 85mm bore.
  21. the guy bought the bike with all this stuff already in it,so he didn't know.
  22. stroking

    back brace

im looking for a back brace i see some guys are using to help keep them planted on there seat. who makes them ? where ? how much ?
  23. its a customers bike, but the plug was tight. it has 17cc domes in it,so fuel may have been the problem because 93 pump gas was in it when he brought it to me.
