  1. CPI pipes are WAY to much for a stock carb bike with no porting, its a waste. You would be 10x's better off taking the 400+ bucks you were going to spend on cpi's and get some good quality portwork. If you are not going to get porting and stay with stock carbs you would be 10X's better off finding a used set of t5's,fmf gnarlys,or something similar. We took a stock 06',and put FMF gnarly pipes on it,and a cool head, and it absolutely screamed over stock. HUGE night/day difference.
  2. That is what i meant, the head is factory vitos untouched, but the guy who initialy bought the domes bought standard domes, and had them machined, but he machined the domes wrong. There is no channel on the domes for the inner o-ring.
  3. T5's and CPI's are both great pipes. It all really depends on where your porting is/carb size. T5's and CPI's are made for different port durations.
  4. hahahaha, that should ad about 20hp when combined with diesel fuel
  5. I owned a 2005 450r for about 2 weeks before i sold it and bought my 1987 banshee back. there is just no substitute
  6. It was the domes, that are standard domes machined 2mm,and they machined off the part that the o-ring goes into
  7. Well i bought the crank/head pistons ect... off a builder. Not sure of the brand of the domes. I think they are supposed to be stroker domes,im going to call vitos and noss and get the scoop. I dont think they are regular domes that are cut
  8. Its wierd i dont see why they wouldnt make part of the dome touch the deck. If i put it together like it is,the dome could fall and hit the piston.
  9. Ok i just got this in the mail today. I am building a 4mm stroker. I didnt buy it directly from vitos, but it is brand new. Its a hemi head 2 with 18cc stroker domes in it. Here is the problem. There is no place for the inner o-ring that surrounds the bore. There is a groove for the outter o-ring though. And when you put the dome into the head,it is recessed like it should be for a stroker, but there is nothing to hold it into the head.It wont press against the cylinder with the rest of the head. Like if i installed it right now like it is the dome would actualy be floating 2mm over the cylinder deck, and would fall down to the deck, there is nothing to hold it up. Shouldnt there be an outer rim on the dome with a groove for the 0-ring? Like a little outer ring that will go against the cylinder deck? Maybe i have the wrong domes or something. Here is a link to my photobucket with pictures of it. First pic is just the dome sitting in the head, second pic is the dome by itself,Third pic is the dome pushed out a little bit so you can see what im talking about with no o-ring groove,And the 4th is just the dome sitting there again in the head. My build has completely stopped till i figure this out. http://s606.photobucket.com/albums/tt147/burtreynolds23/
  10. I didnt know if you noticed or not,but your banshee has white exhaust pipes.
  11. Lonestar is adjustable up to +4. RPM dominator and LSR make the best axles
  12. Probably not the best around, but i like the dyno port 2 into 1 on our old banshee. Its good on tight trails,or it seems like it
  13. I have some sparkys in the for sale section for t5 silencers. ITs like on the second page cheap!
  14. Hell yeah its going to be close. If my banshee aint done might have to ride the lil raptor
  15. Ill be there on saturday as long as my bikes done. Not sure what im bringing. Is everyone camping together?
  16. Im building a 4mil now. Unless you really want to dump some cash out i wouldnt do it. I got almost 2k into mine so far.
  17. The price for the tires is 200$ plus shipping. I put 60 because i figured shipping would be 50 or 60 bucks. If shipping is less then they will be less
  18. I am going to try to get rid of them all at once on ebay before i seperate, but i let you know what happenes, thanks.
  19. 4 wheels and tires. Gbc sand shark rear tires 20x9,and Gbc sand streak front tires 21x10. Mounted on douglas blue label .125 rims. They are in excellent condition. Only flaw is a small scratch on one of the rims from moving them around, its very very minor. Rims are straight and no dings at all. The guy i bought them from, said he used them once, and i never even mounted them. IMO they are as close to new as you can get. With the way they look i doubt they have been used more than once. 260$ shipped.
  20. Selling a set of spark arrestors. Im not sure what brand they are they look like cobra sparkys. I will have an exact measurement tommorow, but they fit the end of TOOMEY t5 silencers. They are the type that attach with clamps. They are in pretty good shape, couple scratches but they are solid and have lots of life left. 65$ shipped. My ebay username is superev1l I have 100% feedback.
  21. I have always used klotz super techniplate. I use one quart for 10 gallons so 16 ounces for 5 gallons. Never had a problem
  22. Got one of those on our 99 banshee,it does sound crazy.
