  1. i would get the 4 snows like you were talking about,when the snow is gone they will make a good drag racing tire for the dirt. they rate the 4snows like 2 tenths better in the 300 ft over the pro wedge tires.
  2. 77 model chevy luv 350 chevy cheater nos system. spraying a 175 hp capable of 250 hp motor is around 400hp. all roller motor have it set up around 550hp ,capable of 650 to 675 hp truck weighs 2,500 pounds. 456 gears posi 3500 stall truck runs in the 10's 1/4mi runs in the high 6's 1/8 mile. also every day driver on pump gas.
  3. sounds like the chain has been stretched for a while.the teeth on the sprocket takes a while to break off they will start to curve as there getting thin from the chain skipping.i would say you have been needing a chain for a while.

  5. everything is slowly going 4 stroke,boat motors, mx bikes,quads.lawn and garden.your stihl weed whackers, husqvarna equipment.its all going that direction.and only is it not going that direction they are getting better performance out of the 4 cycle stuff as well as time goes by.there's enough 2 cycle stuff out there for a long long time for those who want to ride a 2 stroke.
  6. under 150psi is ok for pump fuel.im at 360ft asl. for pump gas i would think the domes should be 21cc you might get away with 20cc domes. just have to compression test it.
  7. +4 is what im adjusted to , it will wake it up some.
  8. porting alone will help drastically,every thing you do will help, case porting,carbs etc. but even with your stock carbs jetted right with porting will make a serious difference.

  10. that's pretty good figuring a cr 500 weight is 235 pnds 60 hp stock.i read in a 1985 cycle world magazine where they ran a cr500 in the 1/4mi. it ran in the 12's right off the show room floor.that's pretty quick for a single cylinder motor.

  12. the second race looks like he just got the hole shot on ya.you were saying you only had a +4 swinger,looks like the 450 is stock wheelbase.i know what the tri z and 250r are capable of i had a 250r back in the day and had a buddy that rode a tri z.i have a cr500 that's scary to ride ,talking about trying to keep the front end down.if you read back i said i thought your z ran good,but i am still saying there is a power to weight advantage with a 3 wheeler racing a 4 wheeler.its about the same thing as your tri z racing a lighter dirt bike.its just like a camaro or trans am racing my luv truck, they have to have a 100hp more than me, just to run with me. for a single cylinder the tri z does run hard.
  13. the tri z has a serious power to weight ratio advantage.i do agree the tri z the 250r and the kawi tecate 3 wheelers all ran well.its the same thing as trying to run the tri z against a modded cr500/kx500. what would be the out come of that.not to take anything away from the tri z , looks like it runs pretty good but wheres the videos of the races it lost.that one 4 stroker in the first video was giving it hell. are those v force reeds i see in the tri z.why not the chariot reeds since it has chariot everything else.

  16. if you want a 4 stroke then why not have both.i have a modded ltz i ride with my buddies cause every one rides 4 stroke.fewer and fewer 2 strokes on the trails anymore.but i still have my shee.the sweet thing about the shee while the yfz.s and crraptor's etc are talking shit how fast their shit is you can bust out a banshee on their ass to shut them up.i was in the yamaha shop the other day to get some spark plugs and was looking at quads on the floor.a sales man approaches me saying if your riding anything else you'll be riding behind the raptor i was looking at.i looked up told the guy, dude you don't have anything on the floor that will run with what i got.he asked well what are you riding.i told him a banshee,he says yea the only thing that will run with a banshee is another highly modified banshee.i was talking to the salesman to find out with all the new shit on the floor guess what he rides,you guessed it a banshee.
  17. ive been running ported blaster reed cages for over 2 years now,they are trick, the blaster reed pedals are larger than the reeds used on a banshee reed cage. to use the blaster reed cages you must hog out the intake for the cages to fit. if your going to port anyway they fit fine. im sure there's others out there that have tried this mod. the ones that haven't need to, i think they out perform the vf3's.

  22. you can give a banshee pure hell if its put together right,also if its jetted correctly.a 4 stroke is more expensive to build when it needs it. you will see.
