  1. So compression is higher at at cold or hotter? Also does compression sound right? My mods are K&N filter, boyenson Dual stage carbon fiber reeds, Boost Bottle , tors removel, rejected, trail port, compete rebuild (rebuilt stock crank trued & welded, seals, gaskets, bearing top and bottom, top end kit .30 over, and head saved 60 thousands off.
  2. Whoops yup thats what I was getting at. Does it sound right.
  3. Ok I'm a pain in the @ss, I know this. I got a different compression tester(Mac Tools) vs no named murreys. Did my test with both plugs off cold first and got about 149 on the right and 145 on the left. Then tried it warmed it up for about ten min at idle. Got about 139 on the right and 135 on the left. I thought it was higher when its hotter. Oh well I guess its better then thinking it was 125 right.
  4. Do you think I'm all right to take it to mio this weekend.
  5. Thanks for the imput.
  6. Someone. PLe Ple Ple Please.
  7. Or anyone, I know I'm needy just help a brother out.
  8. dajogejr what do you think?
  9. By the way I did a compression test and I'm at about 130 per cylender, sound right?
  10. Bro call A&S if they built the motor he Should be able to help you out, if not find a better builder cause you sure seem to have a BUNCH of problems from a FRESH built motor...... Well I only had him do the motor and carbs, he didn't have my quad. The problems I'm having at the moment is sinking the carbs. Which is why I think I'm booging on the low end. The problem is he's gone for the next two weeks. Don't need another builder, but can't get questions answered if he's gone. What bunch of problems are you talking about?
  11. i would but hes gone for the next two weeks
  12. Well my setup is different reeds, trail port, complete rebuild including top and bottom, 60 thousants off the head, tors removel. Well I did my heat cycles 4 off them, and took her for a test ride not using more than half throttle. At first she's boogy, and the turbo boost hits. Hold the f@ck on! On the low end its boogy like it wants to go but doesn't and then its gone. Should it be more responsive? Set up at the moment from a&s is the air fuel is at all the counter clockwise. 260 jets and I think stock 25 mains? The needle is at its highest position. Idles great, just would like the low end to be a little responsive. Come pro's help a newb out.
  13. Talking about when I started it up for the first heat cycle I'm sure it got blown out the exaust. Just did my third cycle but before took the exuast off and looked fine.
  14. Just the fibers. Plates are barnett or whatever.
  15. By the way the exaust was the same on each side in reguards to how much smoke that was coming out of each. Not a little but not alot. Does that some about right?
  16. Idle screws where installed yesterday. I took my carbs and the kit to a machine shop in plymouth and they did a fantastic job. Cost me $20 bucks and let me watch. Well worth it.
  17. Any imput on the sand thing anyone.
  18. Yeah that would be sweet. I just went and did another heat cycle and had to take off that plate to and pull that switch off to let it idle because it wouldn't with it on. Unless I held the throttle. In reguards to the tors and the parking brake everything is off exept that thumb throttle switchy thingy. Ran pretty nice just needs some ajustments, like idle screws. I think its pretty right on but won't know till tomorrow when I'm done with the heat cycles and take it for a ride.
  19. One thing thats getting me is the the little switch under neath the throttle plate on top where the thumb throttle is there is a little switch that clicks. It idles fine untill you tap the throttle and that little switch clicks and wants to stall. Was that part of the old tors or something, or parking brake because they where both removed.
  20. Dan did a complet assemble. I just put it on the quad and put the carbs on. He put 260 mains and I think stock pilots, don't quote me. yeah he cut the head.
  21. Depending on what kind of time frame you are working with, I have to travel to Canton sometime before fall for work. Dam you get around.
  22. K&N filter, boyenson Dual stage carbon fiber reeds, Boost Bottle , tors removel, rejected, trail port, compete rebuild (rebuilt stock crank trued & welded, seals, gaskets, bearing top and bottom, top end kit .30 over, rear bearings, painted pipes silver fmf fatty's, milled head 60 something). Got done doing one heat cycle. One problem is when its at Idle when you push the throttle it makes a little click and stalls. Clicking coming from the thumb throttle. Not Done with the heat cycles yet but will be tommorow. Yah this weekend isn't good for me either. Planning on going to bull gap or gladwin. Any help is well appreciated.
  23.  Just like it says need a little bit of help. Think its pretty much done just a little bit of tuning. I live in canton willing to come to you.
