  1. The problem is that it is rubbing hard enough that it slows the recoil of the shock.
  2. I hope the pic worked. You can see the dark spot on the left side of the shock. That's where it's rubbing. Thanks for the pic advice.
  3. I can't figure out how to post the pic b/c it is bigger than 50k, but the spring is rubbing against the shaft.
  4. I have works dual rate remote reservoir shocks on my Banshee that I bought less than a year ago for mxing. When I got home today after a day of rding I noticed that one of my springs is rubbing against the shock absorber. Could I have bent the shock or is there a way to fix my problem?
  5. I have an '04 Banshee that I have been riding for three years and recently brought in to have its first top end rebuild done and some mx porting. The guy that owns the shop where I brought my Banshee said that he refuses to port the head b/c of how drastically it reduces reliability. Also, I told him that I wanted to use Wiseco pistons and he strongly argued against them saying that, again, they reduce reliability and he would recommend OEM yamaha pistons. He said that by having the head ported and the aftermarket pistons installed, the motor would only last three months. Is there any truth to what this guy is telling me? If I decide to have the head ported for mx, where is the best place to send it to have porting done right with a prompt turn around? Thanks in advance for any advice.
