  2. Iv been waiting for these to come out "Nice Bike", Im sure you will have good luck with it, KTM does their homework, they know how to build a bike. Make sure you post video and let us know how it does.
  3. Thanks guys, I went ahead and purchased a stock carrier type arm from CFM good deal! Really excited about this swingarm. Thanks Scott!
  4. Thanks for the link Bansh-eman!
  5. Not sure how to post the Ebay item on here, but Im sure alot of you have seen them "2manysprees" is the seller, item #180224489959 and 179.99 is the price for 4" ext arm p.c., needle bearings, says they are virtually indestructable? I have seen CFM's deal he is running right now, but I cant afford to have p.c. done or change out carrier bearing yet "stock" sure is a good deal though, anyways I just want to make sure Im not throwing my money away on this, is it to good of price to be decent quality? Anyone else have one of these? Let me know what you think. Thanks guys!
  6. Yea some people get so lucky!
  7. Send me some pics of everything, very interested. Thanks
  8. Well after having an 88, 98 and 03 I thought I could live without one, so I bought a rhino, well you all know how a 4 stroken rhino runs or can imagine, not quite your speed demon. After a couple months I just couldnt handle it any more, started lookin for a cheap fixerup and found this all stock 97 from a dealer for 1800. I have almost totally redone the bike with parts from you guys and ebay. Its pretty cool that every time a Banshee gets sold, BansheeHQ gets a new member! AWSOME SITE
  9. Im around the Indy area running basically the same mods - the cool head, mine rips with the oko carbs with 158 mains & 45-50 pilots with airbox lid removed, I think you may be a little lean with the pods and go to plus 4 timing with b8es plugs. Where abouts are you in Indiana? If you decide to sell 2 into 1 setup pm me. Good Luck
  10. Good thought, wrong timing" he may have passed on that 3 years ago! lol. Easy to get cought up in, and forget to check dates though.
  11. I installed one in mine, works great, from Rocky Mountain.
  12. Your old ones do look wider and better, Take em off get a picture of your old ones next to your new one, send it back and tell em you want +3 or your money + all shipping fees, "or else"
  13. Dont know about "Termanology" but checking your slides to make sure they are opening & closing at precisely the exact same time, in sync. The adjustment is on top of carb where cable meets cap, depending on carbs.
  14. I never realized a different type of carb could make such a difference, "Now I Do"
  15. Thank you!
  16. Im runnin 45 pilots & I think mains were 157 or 158 what ever incraments are between 155 & 160. Do you already have your carbs? Where abouts are you in Indiana?
  17. CPW 216 635-1099 Put them on mine 3-4 weeks ago what a differece in bottom, never had that quick of a response before ,well worth the money imp. put it up next to keihin, exact same carb without the logo. Go for it, got mine for 240.00 shipped pre jetted, they fit snug on the airbox boots, but they work. I had to do a little adjusting for clutch arm & carb bowl "real close" no big deal though. Good luck with the bid, or buy them out right for 260.00 I think.
  18. Open the bleeders slowly and very little, just enough to see fluid moving, hold brake lever till you snug bleeder back up. Just keep working on it , it takes forever to get air out of the new lines. Good Luck!
  19. I used to go to that every year, got tired of wasting my money & time ,they always make it look good then when you get there, aint shit.,
  20. Go with the Razor2 if you want to tear up some trails, they are knarly but I went with the original 6 ply razors this time for easier sliding out of corners, but the 2s definetly hook up better. Your choice!
  21. Hey wacko, dont mean to change the subject, but I like the way that bike sits is that a 2 inch or 4 inch swingarm I was planning on getting a 4 inch. really like that bike though!
  22. you guys made me feel bad! didnt know how to down size it, but I did get rid of one pic. No Prob!
