  1. My son loves it, if he's around and see's it, he says ah' go back to that!
  2. Good luck, let me know how it goes.
  3. Their made for this, and the clutches are a lot tuffer than you think.
  4. I'll prolly do the same thing when I finally tear into it.
  5. 650-800 ele. usually 60-85 temps
  6. Buy them sucka's and resale if nothing else, you can always work out deals on here.
  7. BTW have you sold yours yet?
  8. If you want the excitement to last get the banshee! Other than how well it looks like its been maintained, how easy does it fire up cold, and how well does it run out. Not much else I can think of, you prolly allready know the basics to look for. Im sure you'll know if its running good after a ride.
  9. I have replaced everything on the outside of the cases pancake bearing, clutch, clutch housing clutch boss, springs, spacer, clutch cable, clutch lever, shiftshaft with mod, easy spring, shftstar, and everything adjusted right on. But I have never been into the cases and its a 97, could be a little wore. Sorry blaster2006, not trying to hijack your thread, just hoping we can both benifit here. Thanks for posting your problem, cause the Badlands was my 1st ride after the mods I did. Like you and others have said pretty much flawless shifting untill under pressure while drag racing.

  11. Yeah its real annoying, sheesh, can't beleive Im having the same problem as blaster2006  just kidding lil buddy.
  12. Beleive it or not, I feel your pain! I doubt if the shift star or modified shift shaft, easy spring, will help. It did not help mine with those problems, actually I think I liked it better before the mods. Not that their not good mods but just didn't meet my needs or fix the problem. I never hit neutral or missed a gear, it just wouldn't up shift properly, like it was hanging up on one of the lobes. I thought the modified shift shaft would prolly take care of it, letting the shift mechanism pull or push the star all the way over the lobe to the next gear. Yeah, it only does it when Im drag racing, any other time it shifts great! maybe its just me
  13. hmm, and I thought I got a good deal! better go back and read the small print.
  14. Never know till you try it, not going to hurt anything, thats where mine runs the best.
  15. I have to skip this one.
  16. Lenght depends on what type of riding you want to do, I have +4 and still ride the tight trails pretty hard and don't notice much of a difference. But I went with +4 mainly to keep the front end down when dragging it, but if I was doing mainly trails I would stick with a +2. Stock carrier works fine, as long as you get the stock carrier swinger. Although you would prolly be happier with the round house carrier and swinger for its ease of chain adjustment, = less tools!
  17. I hope this isn't your cub.
  18. Random replies here please.
  19. I dont have any pics, sorry!
  20. Welcome! Never seen a banshee on a hunting trip, but it will work! I would just gear it, I guess! and yes you could get some taller tires and maybe set the shock a little stiffer.
  21. Welcome to the HQ, that usually happens, get rid of banshee, then get another. As for the pipes, stick with the toomey's.
  22. Shipped? Is it for Xbox 360?
  23. :yelrotflmao: Prolly just quoting the ins. agent.
  24. Welcome! Glad you finally spoke up, no need to be shy. Don't know if your yamaha dealer has them or not, but you can get the filtered plugs for your airbox, 1" drill bit. Toomey sells them as a kit, my yamaha dealer sells them. You may want to go 1-2 sizes up on the main for the yz depending on how big or how many holes you drill.
