in most cases, haulers are the best tire you can get for sand dragging. however, setup is EVERYTHING!!!!! if you get the round haulers, they are the best. but if you get the flat kind, they arent that good. we had a set of the flat ones and a set of geckos and sand sharks. w/ the flat haulers you'd come barreling out of the hole like 4 bikes ahead of the others. but since they are flat, there isnt much top end and alot more paddle is getting to the ground which puts a bigger load on the motor in the higher gears. the sand sharks and even the geckos would catch up in the end because of the rounder shape and less paddle getting to the ground. geckos suck ass. i'd say for a piped banshee, sand sharks are a damn good tire and i am very impressed w/ them. but if you got porting go for 21x12x8 10 paddle haulers.

i voted yes. i am really into the drag racing and that's the direction im headed. i see alot of ppl on here into the mx and i think that's great but we need to attract more draggers. i have been spending alot of time on planetsand lately (mostly because we got a new internet provider here at the university and its slower than dial up right now and the hq is really bad and combinted it sucks) but i would like to see more things to do w/ drag racing on here. we could add an mx forum too or whatever. when you go out to the dunes, you see all the duner riders and trail riders at the strip watching the drags. you dont see the drag guys out in the dunes watchin other ppl jump and stuff. i think it would be a good idea so we could share setups and strategies and stuff w/ each other. just give the site a lil more depth.

it would have to have quite a bit of worthwhile stuff. cause the site is already awesome and you can get all the info you need. and planetsand offers email for free so you'd have to come up with a few things that would be worth paying for.

by pipes and tires i'd have to go w/ the cousin. but since all the bikes are similar, its gonna definitely come down to the better rider. should be a good one. let us know how it turns out. i think they'll all be pretty close. the fenders and weight will help you though.

i probably use my fronts about 90% of the time. i usually use both, if im stopping hard. otherwise if im just coming up to a stop, i coast in.

i'd love to have a raptor and a banshee. but i'd also love to have a drag banshee and a play banshee. one w/ drag pipes and the works for sand dragging and one w/ pt mid ranges and all the suspension and body stuff like aftermarket shocks and a arms and nerfs and the stuff you cant have on a drag bike.

i ride sand but i dont think you will get any more dirty than you already do. you take a shower after riding all day anyways dont you? it helps performance and looks bad as hell. cut em!!!!!!!!!

What type of riding do you do mostly? i ride dunes 95% of the time for fun w/ friends and race them and other people. don't do any competitive racing or drag racing just for fun against people. and i trail ride about 2 times a year and ride pastures, gravel roads and other places when the dunes are closed but mainly ride in the sand and am drag racing more and more.

i wouldnt think so because you not changing the amount of air coming in.
