By the way, my banshee has been sitting for about 1 1/2 now and i just started messing with it the other day. I had to rebuild to top end back awhile ago and i probably got 7 or 8 months of riding out of it so far. I have to kick my banshee abnormaly hard to get it to start so im thinking i have a compression problem. I havent started to troubleshoot it yet but was wanting to ask this and im sure its been asked before on here but ill ask again. My cousin works on dirtbikes and hes helped me alot with my banshee. He said he always breaks his in by riding it easy for maybe 2 or 3 hours and then run the dog shit out of it and then change the oil. So thats how i broke mine in. So let me ask you this. What in your opinion is the best way to break a new topend in. I know the manufacture suggests riding it easy for so many hours. But in your opinion what is the best way. and also what is average life of the topend?
BTW it is stock
