  1. Damn, if I had another quad or a dirt bike I could ride, I'd do it. I'd kill to own a DW kit. ETID = Every Time I Die?
  2. If you want to putt around, you don't want a Banshee.
  3. Those aren't even Pro Design/Noss/Modquad compatible, are they? Do believe I'm gonna pass on that deal...
  4. I'll put up my 4mil for the silencers! :yelrotflmao:
  5. It looks like a Modquad to me, but that's strange that it doesn't have the Modquad logo stamped on it.
  6. Traded my billet shorty shifter for Shayne's Tusk blue anodized, he shipped it out quickly and it was exactly as-described... I was a little slow in getting his shifter sent to him, and he was cool with it. Thanks Shayne!
  7. PM sent on the nerf bars.
  8. I rode on sand with my friend's Banshee last weekend, and I was definitely wishing I had paddles... the quad definitely doesn't run as hard, and if you try to whip the ass end around to turn on the sand, there's a very good chance that it'll stall out. If I could keep the momentum up in the parts that weren't too sandy I did okay, but if I tried to juice it hard in pure sand it'd act really sluggish. I haven't gotten to try my paddles out on pure sand yet, but it won't be long before I'll be able to.
  9. If those are good carbs, that's an awesome price... I've heard of them, but haven't talked to anybody who runs them.
  10. No offense to David or anything, but I understand completely where you're coming from... when things don't line up completely, or something fails, it's hard not to be pissed at the first thing that seems to be causing trouble. When my Banshee blew up over Labor Day weekend last year, I wanted to kill everybody who got within a 10-foot radius of me, and I had a much worse fate planned for the guy who rebuilt it for me. Every now and then you get a dud, you just never expect it to happen to ya until it finally does.
  11. Bump for a nice quad, I've always wanted to try riding a Zilla.
  12. I can agree that if you want to be competitive in MX you definitely have to spend a small fortune on suspension for the Banshee. It just depends on how much you're leaning toward building a 100% motocross machine.
  13. Nope! Yeah, I just threw them on for that pic, I was in a hurry so I wasn't paying much attention to which wheel/tire I threw to which side. I normally run Razrs, but I just got those when I took that pic so I figured I'd snap some pics with them on the bike.
  14. In your opinion, what does make a motocross Banshee? Personally, I think if it's ridden on a motocross track, it's basically a motocross bike. I'm not on a quadcross circuit, because I wouldn't want to limit myself to just riding tracks, and I couldn't afford to race every weekend even if it's all I wanted to do. I do just fine with it on a track, though.
  15. As nasty as is, I doubt it'll be on YouTube much longer... If it's still there, check it out. I guarantee you'll think of John (while you're busy gouging your eyes out). Don't click this link if you're easily grossed out, by the way. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
  16. HP 300 was the model number.
  17. Yeah, I'd just buy a cheap used Banshee, you could have it up and running and have a pretty badass machine for less than you'd pay for a brand new one.
  18. I have this same head, it'll fit on stock studs and the domes are interchangeable with Pro Design/Noss. Mine got a little gouged up, I'd buy this one if I had the money.
  19. I listed mine on eBay... no hits yet, but they haven't been on there too long. I think for what I have, I have them listed cheap enough, hopefully somebody else who has the cash in hand will agree with me. I hate to sell my entire collection, but I'd rather have a running Banshee than a bunch of cardboard rectangles to look at, no matter how much those cardboard rectangles are worth.
  20. I'm in north-central Nebraska, and gravel roads are damn near the only thing we have around here unless we have permission to ride in pastures or gravel pits. Thanks to MSHA riding on gravel pit land is quite illegal, so although we have permission from the land owners, if we get caught out there a lot of people get screwed over. There are a few small private tracks around here too, but no matter how many times the issue is brought up, nobody's willing to take on the responsibility of building and maintaining a public track. That leaves us with gravel roads. Around here, the possibilities for riding on gravel are pretty much endless, because that's about all there is, and everybody rides utility quads on gravel anyway, so nobody really cares about sport quads and dirt bikes ripping down the roads.
  21. How much shipped to 68763? I need a good set of pipe clamps... EDIT: Durrrrr, I can't read. Sorry.
  22. I'm trying to sell my collection too, ironically enough. How many do you have, just as a ballpark figure?
  23. Hammerhead300 on XBox 360, 99% of the time you'll catch me on Guitar Hero III but I might be on Project Gotham III from time to time. Don't have Gears yet, but I might get it if the price ever goes down.
  24. The main advantage of a cool head isn't so much the improved cooling it's supposed to offer (it doesn't make much difference from what I'm told), it's mainly the ability to run different sized domes. Cool heads use O rings instead of gaskets. With regard to the domes, smaller domes mean higher compression. That means more power, but once you get up into the 160+ psi range, you have to start thinking about running race fuel. Someone who knows more about this kind of thing might be able to tell you more or correct me if I'm wrong about anything I've said, but that's how I understand things.
