  1. My 06 did
  2. Just a bummer was hoping for good turnout for ya I know you struggled to the last second getting everything ready. Let me know if I can help in any way
  3. T6 exhaust imo sucks balls, I would get CPI. Not much of a price difference if any. What fuel do you wanna run? With the porting you mentioned you will see minimal gains if any hp wise. If your staying pump fuel look into 21cc domes from a site sponsor, they all run similar bandwidth, angle and will run better than a off the shelf prodesign. With the porting you mentioned and better pipes start around 320 main 27.5 pilots
  4. I'm gonna go with two scenarios or a combo of both #1- you damaged more than the eye could see/feel when you cracked that crank bearing assembling the first time #2- with the new power the crank tried pulling itself out the clutch side #3- developed an air leak from bouncing around Either way your first order of business is to perform a pressure test this way you know if it was an air leak issue. I would be more than willing to break it down and assess the damage to let you know the cause free of charge Let me know if you need anything, I know a port job didn't cause it to seize up but I still feel bad for you not being able to enjoy it , that bitch must of ran hard as hell with some paddles and traction
  5. Left side top where dowl pin is
  6. Cap to cap 3.5-7.2kohm if you get no reading take caps off and go wire to wire you should see the reading your looking for . If wires test good replace caps n cut back wire a 1/4" for good conductivity. Word to the wise do one cap at a time and test as you go, too many times guys will replace caps n still get a screwed up reading then u don't know which or both are fucked up. I usually take a pick and spread the strands of the core wire to accept the spike of the cap
  7. Nope gutted cap
  8. You should be fine. I've ran 188 mains on gas in the 1/4 with gas cap mod like your doing , fast billet bowls, pingle, gravity fed. You'll know if it's an issue. Usually once you get into overrev if it starts to feel like resistance it could be sucking bowls dry or lean.
  9. Like I said don't count reeds out . Are they stock?
  10. Ohm out your spark plug boots. Check pickup coil gap. Gap spark plugs
  11. just noticed this post was old I was ready to give advice on alky carbs
  12. I run plenty of bikes gravity fed, big motors also what problems are you having? What's your motor?whats done to the carbs? What elevation are you running at?
  13. The metal ones are more forgiving
  14. I tune a ton of bikes before I even throw a leg over it , it gets pressure test, compression test, electronics run through. 9 outta ten it's not the jetting that's causing customers issues. Also just cause you visually inspected reed don't count them out as a problem as they loose tension and will let a ton of fuel blow by. Test those things mentioned if you have issues Pm me your cell and maybe we can talk problems out
  15. Honda red 85-80 in trail bikes/dune Type f in drag machines
  16. You will need straight 110 with those domes pretty close to 14:1. I would start 165 main 50 pilot , dek needle middle slot . . These settings will be good to heat cycle and test ride in order to plug chop . Depending on porting you might end up with a cel needle but my portwork loves the dek. If your a newb make sure you pressure test your engine after assembling, then check compression, squish. Also ohm out all electronics
  17. Can it be done yes, is it gonna be the fastest shit ever probably not. You would be way ahead money wise to build a nice shee motor. I've put an r1 engine in a shee chassis many years ago. In order to get the proper alignment we had to use an outboard style jja with a pizza pie rear sprocket to get it to perform in 300' . Robinson cut the override . First season of testing the bike ran a fastest pass of 3.7-3.8 consistently which wasn't fast enough for the class he fit in. Needless to say that thing is a dust collector and same kid is going faster with a shee based motor
  18. If you have the ability I would weld a cpl of new pinch brackets in. Plus from the pics it looks like that arm was broken and fixed up by the pivot bolt area. That looks like a homemade gusset up front. Pay very close attention to your chain alignment, I usually measure from the rear peg bolt to the axle , should be within an 1/8 of each other or you will get chain bind
  19. If your gonna pay to pay might as well get hybrid ceramic bearings
  20. How much hp you looking for. What rpm range are you looking for.whats your competition. You can make this bitch fly. No Matter what you build I hope your gonna spend the coin on custom pipes to put the cherry on top
  21. What does a crank balancer look like, maybe I'll pick one up . I've thought about it but am unsure how you would balance on rotation. Side to side I could see
  22. Can't balance them, just true n weld
  23. I can also rebuild cranks . Anything bigger than 4 mill is built to order as you can go cheap or bulletproof
