with the pj34s the filters are all ready touching each other. i cant tie them together if they are ready there. getting frustrated with this carb swap :: i hope its going to be worth it

my problem is that my filters wont clear the pipes. some one said to use a zip tie to keep them away from the pipes. witch i was fine with doing that but it wont work in my bike. so my next step is to go to velocity stacks to clear the pipes. about 5" stacks i sall i need. what do you guys think????

ya it would be cool. piaa makes replacement bulbs that are the same watt but have a higher output & give you more of a white light. im running a set of piaa 55w that equal 85w & are super bright (almost like a HID light)(i said almost) i also have a 200 watt stator that i got from ricky stator :biggrin:

just put those pj 34s on mine but the k&ns hit my t-5s does your filters hit? if not what did you do?

well thanks for the info but that sucks my yfz450 when it was stock was louder than 93dbs well that blows i might not go to oregon then 10hr drive from sacramento to find out im getting a ticket wont go over well with the wife

does any one run up in oregon? what are the laws about sound levels? i have t-5s with no air box. dont want to get all the way up there & find out im too loud.

i got my son an 05 yfz450 from alba & had the pipe & intake done & rejetted. that bike is fast for what has been done. but not as fast as my shee :biggrin: :biggrin: i got to stick with the yamaha brand. would like to put a r1 street bike motor in a rino. now that will wake it up! :biggrin:

just got my pj34s put on & went to install the k&n filters & they hit my t-5s. i have the smallest filters that k&n makes & the ones that come with the kit. my t-5s are almost hitting the filters like with in an 1/8" before i put the prefilters on. any body run into this problem?

cool was starting to think i might have made a mistake with the 34s havent got them yet should come in on friday i think ill run this set up for a bit then put on some nitris :biggrin:

do you loose power on the bottom when running the 34s?

i am putting a set of pj34 on & would like some input about how well they work for the people running them im running 19cc domes,with 110 race fuel, 4deg. key, stock bore, with a stage one port job, stock ign., stock plugs b8es, 3/8" reed spacers, k&ns on the carbs them selves i like to ride mainly in the sand...sand mountain, pismo any feed back would be appreciated thanks CHILLLS

i have a set of t5s but i also have some mods. love the pipes and the response. i ride alot in the dunes though. :biggrin: i dont know if that helps. sounds like you dont want t5s maybe fmf or t6 or pro circuits :thumbsup:

it happens some times... hell i do it all the time. i was looking at some nots when i bought my 200 watt from ricky stator he told me thay my 97 shee had a 85 watt stator in it stock. i dont know if that helps but i just thought i would put that out there. :thumbsup: (some time my fingers go faster than my eyes check for spelling)

any one know witch way the stock reeds go in when mounted on the cage? with the gap at the bottom or no gap at the bottom? :shoothead:
