  1. i called passion proting, and they were saying that when i do get a port job, they are going to check my engine, and inspect it. He said that he needs to check the jugs, and see if they are the right thing for the right amount of added power. i pretty much understood everything he was talking about, except th :baseball_w00t: e "jugs". i do not know what they really do. Give me some Knowledge please.
  2. ya when i was putting on my pipes, that shit happened to me. i checked my carbs, and reeds, and everything. it turned out that some stuff was just alittle disconnected.. so make sure everything is securely connected. :yelrotflmao:

  4. i am probably going to get a "dune" port, and the guy i was talking to suggested 33mm carbs. and now i am hearing 28mm... wtf?

  6. ok, i'll probably get the dune port.. so i just take off my cylinders, and send them off?. i'll call the number and talk about it. but, i am thinking on getting it done form passion porting. is that good?
  7. damn i want to get a port job form these guys.. i am trying to figure out wich is the best bargain. i was looking at the prices, and there is different styles of porting. i am not a dragster, i just want a nice port job, but i still wanna roost. so do i get a traditional style port job? suggestions? thanks alot. ::
  8. i know i sound like a noobie, but how do come in contact with those companies? i did some searching on the web, and couldnt find anything. i live in Cali, and i have never heard of F.A.S.T. help me, i am lost :shoothead:

  10. ok so what do i do exactly.? just send my cylinders off in the mail and get them ported? there is this other place near where i live, and they work on dirt bikes. i dunno if they specialize in banshees, but they are the people that put my coolheads on etc. so what should i do..? suggestions.? oh ya, and how much are bigger carbs, if i wanted to get them.?

  12. i have T5's, stock carbs. and my friend, a retired mechanic is going to do my porting. is it crucial that i get bigger carbs.? or would it be fine if i just left them.?
  13. i suggest NOT getting one. i got one, and people said they do vere very little. and they are a bitch to put in i herd. i got the WHite Brothers one.
  14. ya i am thinking about getting a 404cc kit also. i have the tomomey 5's, but im sure the FMF ones will work. i would go with the t5's. and if i were you i would get rid of the boost bottle. i had one, and banshee users said it had very very little effect. so i got rid of mine. and a big difference.? hell yes.. going from a 350cc to a 404cc. thats a difference.. i am also getting a port job.. the pipes, bore, and port job with be your biggest changes.. it will rooost if you get those.
  15. i am getting a port job soon. what jets do i need . or should i just keep the 290's?
  16. my buddies bike did the same thing. they said it might of been the pilot jet.. somethin like that.
  17. you can get a descent set up for probably $1000. thats just the suspension. look up Elka shocks.. DELUX
  18. Yo, i am new to this HQ site, but when i got Coolheads put onto my banshee. i am pretty sure i got my rings for like $20-$30, and i think pistons can be pretty spendy.. im not sure bout those.
