It is possible mine are bored since the guy a bought my shee from raced it. The first time I rebuilt the topend I couldn't believe how much it was ported. Make since he might have done the carbs too.

Yamaha's website says 26mm so thats what I would say. But when I actually measure my stock carbs they are 28mm on the inner diameter. Anybody know why this is??

Could be an air leak making it run lean. Check the base gasket too.

Hello everyone, I find myself on here reading posts so often that I finnaly decided to register. When I found this site about a month back I was planning to sell my Banshee for a Craptor. But this site has inspired me to keep the lovely 2 stroke. I currently have my shee in a thousand pieces and the frame is getting sandblasted. The lower end is getting new seals and bearings. Got me some 34 pwks, K&n singles, billet racing intake, new reeds and I'm cleaning and painting everything. I'll post some pics soon.
