  1. Okay, I'm not gonna argue over pipes but I believe the fatty's are very under rated. They are much like the t-5's but may sign off a tad earlier. I wouldn't do t-6's, how long are you really gonna keep it stock? Alot of people may say that and then they get a taste of power and want more. I've used fatties for the trail and they do pull hard, you really cant go wrong with fatties, for the money there not bad, quality could be a little better but every pipe out there has at least one draw back. Just my oppinion.
  2. I use the six inch filters from F.A.S.T. they work good. Just keep an eye on the pegs that stick out on the frame that the air box attaches to, my pegs poked a hole in my first pair so I cut the pegs off. Just keep an eye on that when installing.
  3. I agree but you could always call Jeff and get his input. He did the port work and knows what pipe will work the best for your needs.
  4. Thats what I use, they do hook pretty good although I can break them loose when I really want to. Then again I do have a F.A.S.T. motor. ha ha ha just a joke guys.
  5. Looking for Blue front plastic with fenders for my neuphews banshee. Let me know what you got and how much and what kind of shape. Thanks
  6. That thing is fugly, 120 horsepower? four cylinders should make more then that. Looka pretty heavy to me.
  7. Damn thats tall, center of gravity would be a concern. You would have to be careful in a high speed corner. It would be great for going straight and fast on an open trail. Bad colors thou.
  8. Thank you for responce. I'll have to pass on that, not due to the price but I need sixth gear for when I travel down dirt roads. Free bump.
  9. O yes, now I remember, YA GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
  10. Thats funny. :yelrotflmao:
  11. I liked the photo shop green. Actually anyone of those colors would work with the plastic you have. You really have endless possability's. Good luck with your final decision.
  12. I had a yamaha rd250 (1972 ). I made that into a dirt bike and it was scary fast. Same motor as the banshee but it was air cooled. I still have the frame sitting at my Dads, motor is long gone but sure brings back memories. Anything can be done but how much time and money are you willing to put into it?
  13. Anyone here do shock rebuilding? I bought some works shocks off of snowman and would like to get them set up for my riding and weight. I could send them out. Who would you have rebuild them? I did a search but my dumb ass could'nt find anything. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks a bunch.
  14. Just saw this and said to myself " man thats great ". I'm 37 and have two kids, My son is 14 and daughter is 15. Trying to find something for my son to ride so he can hang with dad. It's good to hear these kind of stories and really remember what life is really about. Thanks for your story, it reminds us where we should be in life.
  15. Count me in.
  16. Bought some works shocks from him. Had no problems, deal went real smooth and I would do business again with him.
  17. I'm interested in this whole deal, what if a guy was to put together a weld up kit? I would be interested in purchasing it. Just an idea guys. Do you think that would eliminate the liability ? They do that with car stuff like sub frame connectors, roll bars and even back halfing a car when you tub it.
  18. I chose Jeff at F.A.S.T. for many reasons. He is a one stop shop. He's real busy and he still makes time to return his calls. Hell, I've had Jeff call me on a sunday morning when he could have just spent his time with his family. If thats not customer service I don't know what is. Just my oppinion and it doesn't hold much water but thats my .02 and I'm sticken to it.
  19. Is the overide tranny duneable? How much? Does that meen you have to use the clutch from first to second and then you can shift clutchless up to fifth and use the clutch going into sixth? Just trying to get this straight in my head. I want to go to a overide thats why I'm asking. Wondering if this would fit my needs.
  20. Count me in.
