The guy you raced must not no how to drive!!!!!For me I went from those 40 dollar boyesen reeds to the VF3s and had more throttle response.If you have the money go with the VF3s. :thumbsup:

If you dont care about sacrificing top-end then go with PTR-Mids :thumbsup:

If you want more power and have a FAT wallet why not a stock stroke 400cc Cheetah P.V.?

Are you planning on doing any motor work?I hear for low end the paul-turner mids are the best.But you get no Top-end.Also FMF Knarlys for only low-end and they smothen out the power band so you have more traction

Im at sea level with +4 timing and .30 milled head and I run av gas(100) just to be safe.

Also when You Drop a stroker you need to port it to match the crank.And anything over +4 will require trenching the casses.

You should call different builders and see which one gives you a better price.I think that would be the best way :thumbsup:

CUB is out of the question for trails trust me.When they hit they hit HARD.I would go with a strong woods port or a Dune port with a +4 stroker.That would be a fun fast bike IMO

Get your stockers ported.I just made the biggest Mistake off my life by going to a 7mm Cub.WAY too much power for me.Im going back to stock ported cylinders.My builder was the one who talked me into it and now hes switching back over to stock ported with shearers.Plus you will spend so much money.Im not happy at all with my setup.didnt even bring the fucker home(Other then the reason pops says its to fast and its not going in his garage and his son is not riding it either).And to tell you the truth when I eventually go crazy again Im going to go all out with a BIG cheetah with power valves.Supposedly smoother powerband and better for trails.But take it from som1 a lil bit older than you.DONT GET CUBS if you dont want a HUGE gain. I already wasted 400 bucks on race gas

Sprockets can be for top-end or low end.If you want top get 15 or a 16.Less shifting :thumbsup: .Top end pipes go with CPIs.If your going to 99 performance get sheareres because Pedro loves shearers and "MATCHES" the port job to the pipes.

Guys I decided not to put the cub on my 06 and just to port it and put the reeds.I have my 7mm Stroker cub just laying around in the shop payed off already and dont have nothing to put it on. :: All I need is a Complete roller with.Motor Wise I just need New cases.Please only locals.Im in MIami

I would go with the knarlies only becuase you REALLY like low end and I know those pipes will smoothen out the powerband.Also you will get some better traction for the MX i would think.You can get them really cheap on ebay too.Go with them I think they fit your riding style better

If I was you I would buy the old style ones.I ordered mine about 5 months back.Then my friend ordered his like 3 weeks ago and the rack is seriously thin.IDK

I think more people choose a cub over P.V because they are way cheaper.My builder told me to just gow with the cub becaus eit is alot cheaper.But Ive seen a 10mm 535 cheetah P.V. and I was scared to ride in the back of that thing.Im going to to race my 7mm and see how I keep up with it.

I sat if you race in the Sand You will BLOW it(w/ Paddles).On asphault you will shit all over it,But on dirt it will be a closer match.I think it will be hard for you to get traction.Shit I lost to a honda 300ex on the dirt.Of course I didnt catch any traction until 5th gear tho.I was running stock tires.
