  1. u mean run it at half throttle then shut off n pull plugs
  2. i am running rad valve reeds and cages the cages are ported my needle is one down from the middle does that sound ok. i changed too 320 mains and it now feels alot better
  3. my shee is .060 over with weisco pistons and the head is miled .035 what should my compression be about
  4. i was wondering if i have the right jets in cause this might sound weird but when it is cold or cool my shee runs real strong through all the gears but now that it is getting warmer out it seems not to run as strong i was wondering if it might be alittle rich and maybe i should drop down too 320 jets i have 340 in now another thing is there is a little fuel and oil coming out around my pipe where it hooks to the cylinder so that made me think it might be rich too. should there be a rubber o ring there i am running t5 pipes i know stock they do but was no sure about the t5's. one more thing is my needles r stock but the clip is moved down 1 from the middle so the needle sets higher not sure much about the needles so any help would be great

  6. i use amsoil 0w 40w synthetic it is awsome make sure u get it 4 wet clutchs
  7. u could also bump your timing up take the timing plate off and slit the 3 holes so u can turn it clockwise about 1/8 in that is free hp

  11. i just got done polishing my exhaust port it turned out great i can see myself in it i top it off with 1500 grit paper thanx 4 all the help
  12. that pics u posted is hard to see but i have my tranfers in to a point what do u polish your exhaust with
  13. yes i just got done painting my a-arms this week i sanded them down with sand paper and sprayed them with good rustelum paint and clear they look great i will post some pis when i take some
  14. how smooth should the intake be and talking about the transfers that is what u see on the bottom that go in to the sides of the cylinders right. what all can u do with those?
  15. any more input from anyone? i am up for advice on how to make them better, but don't want to go too big still running stock carbs don't want to change them cause have to run them in the class i run
  16. the intake should i try n smooth it out cause some say intake should stay rough so that the air n fuel mixes but i know the exhaust should be polished

  20. yes the plugs look ok little on the darker side. it boggs when u let off the gas and back on. n when u start out the guy that did the port said that its like that because the jugs r ported pretty good on the intake and the cylenders r stock not much else done. he said to try and set the timing up its still stock too it even has a stock filter in it i think he just needs to upgreat somethings do u agree?

  22. im working on my buddys banshee it has fmf fatty pipes 260 jets and is ported on itake and exhaust not big port but ok it has a problem picking up from idle and when u r going along and let off and get back on it does not pick up right away almoct feels like fouled plugs but they don't look real bad was wondering about the needles but don't know to much about them anyone help me
  23. i welded my shaft and ball n want to go with the better stuff where do i get that pancake bearing, number or site n how much do they cost
