Simple, it diesels! When the octane is low enough, and the compression is high enough, the fuel combusts without the use of spark, just like a diesel truck. That's why when you pull the plug, or hit the kill switch, nothing happens, because doing either one of those things is just starving the motor of a spark, but when your bike's dieseling, it doesn't need spark. The best thing to do in that situation is to put it in gear and drop the clutch.

Thanks for the reply! I think you're right, the 33-39 is interchangable, but the 41 is all by itself, no big deal though. Thanks for the help!

Hey guys, I'm swapping carb with a guy (for our Quadzilla's), and I'm giving him my 41mm PWK for his 39mm PWK. Will the throttle slides be different on these? Or can I just keep mine, and he keep his. Thanks!!!

I have a stock reedcage, and stock airbox, and it fits fine. I also have a normal cable,and that works fine too. It comes with a chome plated throttle slide. How much you looking to spend, make me an offer.

Hey guys, I got a pair of Chrome headlights that I originally bought for my Quadracer. They're brand new, and come with all the wiring, and the switch, and also a wiring diagram. They're 50 Watt bulbs, which some people say can't be used in a stock stator Banshee, but I've also heard people say it'll be fine. But either way, you CAN buy 35 Watt bulbs for it, which I *think* will make it okay for a Banshee. I'm asking $30 plus $5 for shipping.

Do Bandit's look like this, I don't remember? If they DO, my friend has a pair sitting in his shed, they're used, but have about as much tread as the Quadracer in that picture, probaly more. Let me know if you'd be interested.

Alright, well I wonder what that little box is then? Because there's a set of headlight wires (3 wires-yellow,green,black) running out of it. Is that for the high/low beam or something? And I can NOT find that other plug for the left headlight. I'm not worried about the high/low beam at all, if I can rig both lights to run on high beams all the time, using JUST that one headlight plug I found, can somebody tell me how? Thanks for all the help guys!!!

Well I can only find one of the plugs, it's a white triangular plug, with yellow, green, and a black wire running to it. I found another "group" of wires with the same colors, but they run into the voltage regulator (I think that's what it is, small black box next to the coil). Is there a way, or would it be plausable, to run both headlights off that one set of wires I found. Since I'm cutting the actual plug off anyway, and just gonna connect the wires "manually".

Alright, I'm searching for the wires on the lights on my frieind's '02 Banshee. The guy before him took the lights off, but my friend bought new ones on eBay. We can't find any plugs near the front of the bike that are compatible with the stock lights. I'm wondering if he cut the wires before the plugs, and they're hiding inside the wire looms he has on it. Can anybody tell me what COLOR the wires should be, the ones that lead to the plug for the lights. THANKS!

I'm trying to hook up a set of lights for a friend but we can't find where the light plugs are. theres a bunch of plugs hanging around but none of them fit the light plugs. Anybody know how to do this???

Well, the hole is definatley not drilled, considering it can hold a liquid. This goes for both carbs, no idle screw on either carb, no hole on either carb. I have another question, at an idle, this thing actually smokes quite a bit, and likes to run rich, but I just did a WOT (5th gear chop) plug chop and the plugs actually look LEAN. I know nothing about what jets should be in it, so maybe you can help us. The bike's got Pro Circuit pipes, and open K&N filters. We're at around 500 feet for elevation, the temperatures between 40-50 degrees lately. It has 230 mains, and 25 pilots, does this sound right? Thanks! Here's a picture of the plugs, one of them almost looks like it overheated.

How come when I look into the hole where the screw is supposed to go, I can't see threads? I tried spraying some carb cleaner in there while it was running, and it didn't affect it at all. Should it? Toomey sells a kit, that includes the idle screw, nuts, and a drill bit and a tap. Why would I need the tap, because it's not a stock part?

So it's definately missing that screw, which equals into an air leak? I guess that's one more thing we can check off of "hunt for problems". Thanks
