  1. the local Karting shop i take mine to has rebuilt mine twice and cost 90 bucks and they welded it and trued it.
  2. what year bronco are you looking for?
  3. i hear ya, i hear ya, does it have a recall? how high does it go?
  4. DAMN!!! 600 bucks i know of a few other things i could spend 600 dollars on but i gues if ya got the extra money. the only down fall i see is its just so big, but it does have a good look to it. my tach is like 3 inches long and 2 inches wide.
  5. yes you are correct it does read rpms like every second and that digitron sounds really kickass but like you said it costs way more. i just got mostly for the hour meter and to see how hard it would turn but if i had the money i would buy the same thing you have sounds really handy.
  6. i bought mine out of dennis kirk but the motorcycle edition i think it may be in the off road edition as well. the brand is Tiny Tach and i have a ground wire that i bolt to my pipe bracket and then there is a wire you have to wrap around one of the spark plug wires i am pretty sure it says 4 or 5 times then i used an old clutch perch to mount mine to the handlebars. It works pretty well and it is also an hour meter. it doesn't have a recall or a back light but it was only like 45 dollars. and it goes to 9999rpm. here is a pic of mine http://www.denniskirk.com/denniskirk/b2c/p...pix/t226r1c.jpg
  7. i have had the same problems i just used some clear high temp silicone.
  8. i know that you want to find out who this idiot is but it would be dumb if all of you two wayed them because now they have your number as well and will probably begin to harrass you too. just my opinion. i have had the same problem and i never answered back and it quit after about three days.
  9. hey FAST 1 did you buy that rigid frame out of grain valley missouri at the sand drags.
  10. that is what i was wondering.
  11. travis, that is what i thought and also how much do rear drag asphalt tires go for i am looking for some. i want to darg both dirt and asphalt next year.
  12. hey travis your bike looks damn good. i got a question are those stock a-arms that have been chromed?
  13. i like to use wisecos because they are a forged piston.
  14. most definitly lean same thing happened tome in LS my left carb got pluged up and burnt a hole right throught the piston. and all the black marks on the sides of your pistons is alsoa good sign of overheating. have you ran it out of gas or maybe your screans in your tanks are clogged up and it isn't getting enough fuel. since you said you eliminated the air leak issue when you had the cylinders bored did you take them the pistons as well? there is a specific clearence between the piston and cylinder wall and they may be too tight? just a thought. but if i were you i would do a complete tear down replace every gasket and seal, get your cylinders checked, clean your carbs and tank(take the valve off and clean the screans or better yet take them out) and go from there and another thing did you happen to take the flywheel off? if so did you make sure you got it on the woodruff key, if not the flywheel will spin some resulting in timing change.(i have seen this happen before, and believe it or not they will start and run, but not for long)
  15. first of all out of frames aren't meant for anything other than dragging so they are not going to hold up to jumping and on the power issue i don't think they help 10hp but i do no they run cooler because of no silencer and cooler is always better.
  16. here read this it is most likely your problem i had the same thing happen to me http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=51873
  17. same here i didn't even think twice about it but now i know the truth.
  18. a 9 paddle should not be too much in my mind, i have never heard anyone running a seven paddle on a banshee.
  19. well one thing i know is the air strykers have two more vents in the top of the carb where the normal pwks don't and the pros of having them i think is a little finer tuning and easier tuning but not for sure on that part.
  20. i am pretty sure it may be your needle and seat(the little rubber thing with a tiny needle in it, that is in between the floats) not 100% sure but it is worth a try
  21. no you can leave them in just blow them off mwith an air compressor like blueshee said and you should do fine. some mods you could do is getting your shift star modified and lightening your flywheel and advancing your timing. i know you can do this without splitting your case but sense you have it all apart, unless you have already done all this
  22. now i don't know about the whole pipe situation ROCKETMAN but andy has been really nice to me, he is kinda hard to get a hold of but when you do get a hold of him he will talk about racing bikes and other shit aswell. He has built my swingarm, converted my carbs to alcohol, and there was another little thing i ordered from him with no problems. i know that is little shit compared to all the business NYUK has givin him but that goes to show you he still takes the time to do business with the little guy.
  23. oh i cut about 2-2 1/2 coils out and i think i may cut out more just do what you said "going one coil at a time" and you should be fine and if you do go too far you can stretch them back out but it is easier to freak them up doing that.
  24. ohman i hate to see that, hope you get it all worked out and the way you explain it it sounds like you clutch is slipping if you rev high and your gears are short.
