well i know i ran the b9egvs with a little 200psi and it was buring the tips a little put the bigger tipped b9es in and no problem. i know she aint lean i think it was just a combination of alot of compression with 7 degree timing and the alcohol. my jets are .110 hole.
i think if you are just trying to get some money it would be better for ya to sell it the way it is or just part it out (which would probably be the better of the two choices). Where are ya located at?
yeh you should have checked your ring endgap after the honing with your new rings to see if it was too big of a gap. if it is all the compression will pass right be the rings.
well thanks for the compliment but i can tell you haven't done much looking cause there are plenty of others that look ALOT better. she actually doesn't look like that anymore she is going through a little makeover.
well i know i am just another fellow hq'er that has went through jeff and we have heard this one hundred times but thanks jeff for the fast transaction. i know i'll be buying more stuff soon! thanks again
well first off you'll never see it at 12,000 rpms and another thing mine just has a ground wire and the other wraps around the spark plug wire but it is meant for a twin cylinder two stroke. good luck getting it to work.
i just run a b9es make sure it is atleast a number 9 and i used to run the b8egv's when on gas and was just going to run the b9egv's for alky but Andy at GRR told me the ends are too small and it will just burn off so make sure you don't run the plugs with a small tip. and for oil i also run castor 927 it mixes well with alky and doesn't have too strong of a smell either.
exactly all you have to do is get a longer swinger. i have seen lots of bikes with LOTS of power that don't a wheelie bar just a big swinger. and also if you need the wheelie bar and actually have to use it that means your front tires are going to be off the ground atleast a little bit and that is never good the never seem to want to turn when that happens.
there is no bolt on your crank it is your crank so be really careful not to fuck it up. cause there is no bolt you can replace if you screw up the threads. now if you have tried the impact and the wd40 and still no luck(are you sure the keyway isn't broken and the engine is turning over?) your last alternative would probably be heat. you won't need a whole lot so be careful just get it warm and try it and if it doesn't come off get it a little warmer. i have never had to do this mine always comes right off but it is the only thing i can think of.
ok let me see if i understand when you try shifting it with your hand and you watch the shift star it doesn't stap over to the next notch on the star right?? Have made sure that the shifter linkage isn't pushed to the right side of the case too far. this will make it not make enough contact on the star and it won't shift just push on the linkage on the clutch side as far as it will to the left side of the case while trying to shift it with your hand. be careful not to pinch the shit out of your hand. oh and for the oil and coolant i use valvoline max life 10w30 but alot of people just use some atf and for coolant go get some antifreeze 50/50 will be fine just don't put straight water in it.
i would have to agree you might get pissed but you better cut your price in half to get some offers! it's not that your bike is a pos it's just that the resale of an atv isn't very high!
damn that sucks man you better get better so you can get back on the shee. everytime i get on something with two tires it usually isn't good. hate to hear your bad luck!
you could put stock carbs on that bike and still beat the 400ex but you would be starving the motor if your going to be doing more trail then the drags you should go with the 2:1 but dual 35's will definitly get the job done!
