  2. Can't find anyone to make me a black seat cover for the highflight seat.......know of anyone
  3. yea she needs a seat cover, new plastics, frame needs to be re coated, I'm converting it to a arms this winter and building a set of +3 +1 a arms. Gonna cermic coat the pipes black, silencers too. The collor sceme is flat black on gloss black. Just gonna take some time and do it. I've had it since I was 14. Needs some desperate tlc in some departments. But. She does run, I get lots of complements on that at the drags.
  4. My machinist did it for 10 a tube. Did a nice job can't complain he treats me good. I'm working on getting my lathe right now . The chain is. Snug when its up but when your riding it and its compressed it loosens up. I just ordered a chain slider for it yesterday too. The swinger is simple and to the point. Don't need nothing fancy to drag with.
  5. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t305/astaindsoul5446/20100906172336.jpg on..... http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t305/astaindsoul5446/20100906172323.jpg. don't mind the wheeler. She is work ib progress. Poor girks had a hard life
  6. Yes it is for the stock carrier, its what I have for a carrier at the moment. When the time comes ill build a offset style arm. The linkage mount is there now, it wasn't quite done in the last pic. And I'm waiting on my machinist to get me the pivot tube back so I can weld that all on. Working on getting a lathe myself, cnc lathe actually. Its actually built for a linkage suspension. Try her and see what she does. By the way its all tig welded (tmaw)
  7. I'm not trying to sell anything... Its just a prototype I built for me and my buddy who drag. Thats a plus 6 and his is a plus 4. As for weight. its 1.9 pounds lighter then a stocker, and 2.3 pounds lighter than a squared tube drag swinger that i bought off ebay 8 years ago . I've been on here for a while, just never posted. As for the gussets, they added maybe...... .5 lbs its 18 gauge 1X1 welded seam tube. The main tubes are .095 wall 1 1/4 tube. Bennie thanks for the compliment. I like fabricating, im a boilermaker by profession and fabricate on the side.

The start http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t305/astaindsoul5446/20100828194113.jpg About mid way ( no gusseting) http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t305/astaindsoul5446/20100829115308.jpg Nearing completion http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t305/astaindsoul5446/20100829143502.jpg Tube is .120 wall dom carbon steel. Trying to find a good connection on some 4130 chromemoly which is turning out to be rather difficult by me in new york. Also debating on make a prototype out of aluminum. I'm a Boilermaker/ welder by profession and this is what I do for fun . Thanks guys have a good one, any input is appreciated.
