  1. It will actually do the same after riding. I am going to richen up the pilots and see if it helps. I leaned them out and it made the problem worse. If this doesn work, i will go to the fourth clip on the needle. I am running the stock needle position with rad valves, rocket pipes, K&N pro design intake, and NOSS head. I have a 310 main and 27.5 pilots. I do have the TORS still installed which will soon be deleted.
  2. It did the same thing when the bike was stock. I dont think the mains would have anything to do with it.
  3. Thats what i thought it was but wasnt sure. Thanks. Jeff
  4. What is the woodruff key??
  5. Just wondering if this would be a worth while switch. I dont know too much about the raptor carbs other than they are 33mm.
  6. If my bike is not warmed up all the way, it seems to bog when any throttle is applied. It will still do this even after a few minutes of idling. Anyone else have this problem?
  7. Cool, thanks for the info. Jeff
  8. Just wondering and if so, what kind of power do they make. Weighing the options of porting stock jugs vs. cubs price.
  9. Anyone compare performance with these two types of carbs???
  10. just to make sure, the pilot jet is located right underneath the intake of the throttle opening, correct?? If that is the correct jet, than Tony sold me the wrong shit.
  11. Should i be running a tighter spark plug gap with my setup? The motor internally is stock with 19cc domes with NOSS head, rocket pipes, timing + 4 degrees, and running 110 leaded 32:1. The ignition is stock. This motor has less than 15 hours on it. Jeff
  12. I bought some 27.5 pilots from Tony Doukas this past week and noticed they are about a mm longer than the stock piltots on my stock carbs. I specifically told him i needed the 27.5 pilots for the stock carbs. Does anyone have a pic or know if they are suppose to be longer. Jeff
  13. A pipe hanger??? Is that stock piece???
  14. I am trying to install them, and was wondering if any of you guys have a pic of how you mounted them to the frame.
  15. I decided to go ahead and build a stroker instead of keeping the motor stock. I am goign to be running rocket pipes with this setup. It will be a stock cylinder with 4mm long rod stroker crank. About how much will it cost for a good port job and assembly of the new crank and pistons??? I have a guy down here, but i would rather have someone with experience with stroker and rocket pipe banshees. Jeff BTW, what are the best internals for my motor?
  16. I have Rocket pipes, K&N pro flo, no lid, stock carbs, banshee rad valves model 36, noss head 19cc domes, 32:1 oil mix. I am going to try stock pilots or 27.5's (not sure), but i dont know what to do about the jet needle. Should i keep it stock and what setting should i start out at?? I plan on trying a 340 main as well. Jeff
  17. Awesome, which carbs and porter do you reccommend. I've seen some people running lectron carbs and they claim they are easy to tune
  18. What about a timing plate??
  19. Thanks for the input guys. Yeah, i forgot to add that i plan on a 4 mil stroker crank and some porting. I would like to keep the stock jugs.
  20. I just got my rocket pipes in and i was wondering if 80+ hp is possible with 110 leaded. If so, please tell me your combo. There are some 70-90hp CPI shees around here that need to be dealt with accordiingly. I have the NOSS head with 19cc domes, timing plate, K&N trinity intake without lid, obviously the rocket pipes and boyesen reeds as of now. Everything else is stock. Where should i start??
  21. i have seen a couple of the YFZ banshee conversions. I believe one was painted a metal flake orange. Jeff
  22. I know on a four stroke, if you use higher compression, the general of thumb is go down one size on the main, but i dont know about two strokes.
  23. anybody have pics of these monsters???
  24. On stock carbs, does turning out the screw make it run richer????
