Yea i'm hearing that 2 strokes are too hard on the environment...and as you said helldriver the technology is there. Bombardier are making new 2 stroke engines that are way better for the environment Does anyone know how long it will take sleds to all change to 4 stroke...i know Yamaha is, but are any of the others changing? -
I don't think you can get his IP address....unless someone knows his IP address already, then you can find out where he his, unless he has dial up, then it would be very hard to find him. Unless there is a away to find out his IP

I would think that the flat side of the strip would be on the outside so that when you turn it "catches" the sand and grips...and the round edge part would be on the inside, so that when you turn, the tire with the round-edge pointing forward would "float" over the sand on not catch ....but thats just my idea...better let the guys that actually know how they should go tell you..lol

I'm pretty sure the only thing left is the black box under the tank, because everything is off of the carb, and the wires leading to the throttle that im guessing are for the clicky thing are cut, and where is the wire that leads to the parking brake?

Hey guys...I have an 87 shee, hasnt been running right for a week or so...and im new to the banshee's so i took it in to a shop......the right side was mis-firing before i took it in, thats the reason i took it in....and i was talking to the mechanic today and he said it has to do with the electrical...and i was reading all about the TORS, and one post i read was that if you dont have these certain five things unplugged/disconnected...it can mess up your spark....the TORS are gone, wires cut from ignition, black box is still under gas tank..plugs that went into TORS are still there...and im not sure if the parking brake wires are gone...so i was wondering if i should cut the useless plugs that went to the TORS, and just tape them up, tape the throttle wires up, and remove the black box?...or could moisture got into the wires and thats why its not firing right...all help is greatly appreciated..thanks

Make sure your main pilot screws are still in, i had my left carb's pilot screw fall out, wouldnt idle...found it in the foot peg, and put it back in and it idles fine

taking it to the shop thrusday afternoon, so once i get it back and find out what the problem was i let you guys know

hey guys.....dont know to much about shees, just got it last sunday...so heres the problem.....the shee starts fine and idles...but if you put your hand up behind both silencers, the right is way stronger than the left, it almost feels like the left is mis-firing....and once i give it gas the right side runs and screams good, but the left pings like its still idling....and there is a lot of oil dripping out of left exhaust and non on the right, so could this have to do with it not igniting, causing it to just send the oil out the exhaust, or does my top end need re-building...all help greatly appreciated!...thanks Mods: K&N Filter DG Pipes/Stock Silencers Boyesen Reeds

Im going to drain the tank and mix some new gas...choke tub is still there, and the air lid is off because the guy i bought it from has a k&n filter kit, and he said it was jetted for the dg pipes and filter...but maybe not

Hey....ever since i got my banshee, it hasnt been running very good....it starts up and idles, but once you give it gas it bogs for a few seconds then starts to rev up...but it still has the pinging of when its idling when you give it gas...and only once i had it running excellent, i cleaned the carbs put it back together and it ran awesome, shut it off to take it out of the shop, and now it runs like it always has...is my jetting not set up right?...or is there something else....the TORS are gone, and i have: boost bottle, k&n filter kit, dg pipes, stock silencers....all help is greatly appreciated!!..thanks

Ill just post it here....on my shee i just got, there is the TORS control unit under the gas tank, if the TORS on the carbs are taken off, do i need to worry about the TORS control unit, or can i just leave it ....and if i do take it off, will it do anything, or will it mess up the electrical system? any help welcomed!....thanks

Yea i always put the black choke tube back on....throttle is in right...its weird after sitting for a bit it wont start, so i go tow it with my brothers truck...pop the clutch in gear, wont start...then kick if over after and it starts

Hey everyone.....went out tonight and cleaned the carbs, put it all back together, went to start it and now it wont start...could i have done something wrong?...any help is appriciated...thanks

Hey guys....noticed my shee wasnt running right, it still pings like its idling when i give it gas, and isnt revving as high as it should... so i cleaned out the carbs...put it together...started it up and it ran fine, revs picked up a lot, sounded good, better throttle response...then shut if off....pushed it out of the shop...started it up and its doing the same thing it was before..and the left silencer has oil coming out, and the right doesnt .....new to banshee's, so any help would be greatly appriciated....thanks
