  1. Check your stator. Maybe the ignition side is going out.
  2. I recently had a similar problem, and it ended up being the ignition side of the stator was shot.
  3. Andy sent me an email last week, stating that the part would be shipped on Friday, and it didn't happen. He still hasn't replied to my last message, either. This simple order has turned into a huge mess, on M&M's end.
  4. I'm not acting like an idiot, and maybe you are just sticking up for him, because he's done favors for you in the past, like sending you parts before you paid for them. All I'm saying is, M&M hasn't done what he told me, he would do. Yeah it's my fault, for not ordering from FAST, this time.
  5. I've already contacted him once, and what he told me would happen, hasn't. I contacted him again, and he hasn't answered.
  6. It's only been a week? WTF is that for an answer. Yeah, they've only had my money for a week, and if they don't stock the parts, they should put that kinda info on their website. Their shop is only 3-4 hours away, but with the price of gas these days, it's not worth the drive, for that small of a purchase. Their first message to me said that the part would be shipped last Friday, and here it is the following Tuesday, and it still hasn't been shipped.
  7. It's been one week, since I ordered, and paid for a grill. I've contacted them twice, and they have answered once. I still have not received my grill. I won't order anything from them again, if they were the last banshee dealer on earth.
  8. other popular phrases "Wheelies all the way up the face." and "I can pull the front end in all 6 gears" with that 350 lb bitch I married, sitting on the grab bar. lol
  9. Anything that is from Ricky Stator, or RM Stator is more than likely junk, and the cause of your problems.
  10. Glass packs, and/or fart cans, since I'm not running any of the listed exhausts.
  11. Did you take the pilot jets out, and clean them?
  12. Check the gap between the pickup coil, and the nubs on the flywheel. It should be .020.
  13. Get some 27.5 pilots, and put them in. No two motors are exactly the same, and your hard starting is a big give away, that it's too lean.
  14. There is nothing wrong with the FMF pipes.
  15. Get a Clymer's manual for it, remove all of the TORS crap, if it's still on. The TORS stuff will cause you massive headaches, if it's left on. Get a kit from one of the site sponsors, and put in the idle screws. Call FAST Racing for the kit.
  16. As was already stated, you need the 795 series Wiseco pistons, which have the wrist pin moved 5mm higher. These are used, because of the long rods, but the domes need to be cut, for the added 2mm stroke of the crank. Get your cylinders ported by one of the site sponsors, and tell them to cut you a set of domes for your cool head. The spacer plate is just another place to have an air leak. FAST racing cut my stroker domes.
  17. Dieseling or engine run-on is a condition that can occur in spark plug, gasoline powered internal combustion engines, whereby the engine keeps running for a short period after being turned off, due to fuel igniting without a spark. Dieseling is so-named because it is similar in appearance to how diesel engines operate: by firing without a spark. The ignition source in a diesel is the compression of the fuel in the cylinder, rather than a spark as in gasoline engines. The dieseling phenomenon occurs not because the compression ratio is sufficient to cause auto-ignition of the fuel, but a hot spot inside the cylinder starts combustion. An automobile engine that is dieseling will typically sputter, then gradually stop. It's either starved for fuel, or there is an air leak. Are the crank seals, carb boots, and all gaskets in good shape? If you're running a boost bottle, chances are, it's a bad carb boot. If all of this is good, then pull the carb on the hot side, clean it, and be sure to remove the pilot, and main jet. Clean them really good, then replace them.
  18. Sounds like a bad air leak on the side that's getting hot. You need to find the leak, and fast, before you damage the top end.
  19. K&N with outer wears. I ride in the sand, and dirt, and my carbs have always been clean. When riding at the dunes, I clean my outer wears every night.
  20. Something is definitely not right. Possibly an air leak.
  21. Most people run 27.5 pilots on similar set ups, and you need to open up the air mixture screws. Try them at 1.5-2 turns open, and make sure both are adjusted the same.
  22. There are exhaust hangers that you need for any pipe. FAST Racing has these. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=300
  23. New plug caps, check the pickup coil gap, and it should be .02.
  24. We need more info. Current jetting, current temps, and elevation, in order to help.
  25. Contact FAST. That's where I got the petals for my VF 2's. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=93 On the site, it says he has replacement reeds for the 2's, and 3's.
