  1. This bike and rider, This time.."727" 290# bike wet and its a 350 drag ported on alky 36/38 lectrons bike was running lower 4.3s and high 4.2s the day before.

  6. I myself would pick a front yfz caliper over a rear stock yfz caliper, i have used the front calipers on the rear of my banshee's and yfz's and worked great.

  10. I want to know about this, i have never ever seen a 421 just bolted toghter and throw in a chassis and run 3.8s. Little more detial might help some others understand how this can be, like is it just straight out of the box on alky and in a drag chassis? Not saying it cant be done but i myself have never heard of it and or seen it "dont get out much", i know Jasons 397 runs its azz off....so i know alot can be done to little motors to make this happen. Not saying your lyin just asking.....inquiring minds would like to know.

  14. I didnt say you could...i said i have done stupid stuff like that before....with no issues....kinda like a oops type deal. The more u try to back load the engine the more it will push on the forks and it trys to push the gears apart. That is how it bends the forks, thats why there is springs in the duneable trannys but after a while even those are gonna end up with bent forks its just a matter of time. The standard drag trannys are a little more forgiving on the banshee's then some people think, now the 4 strokes not so much...lol

I have done all kinds of down shifting forgetting to grab the clutch, start in other gears all the time...like slowing down, downshifting while going then taking off in 3 or 4th and no issues.....and ive been lucky with it.....and its not been the same tranny been in quite a few motors with different trannys.

  18. The Red says it all....Trinty dont know alot about making 4 strokes fast.....probally more chrome then internal motor parts too.

  20. Like Zilla said....you can open up the windows on the pistons....normally u only want to open up the outside's of the windows though. Do get to hogging on them as the less material on the piston skirt in that area will make them alot weaker and not last no where near as long as they should....plus if one breaks off ur gonna be replacing alot of parts internally. Depending on what i am working with i usually go up .020, down .020 and over .040-.060 over "have gone farther then that before" i never mess with the middle between the windows.
  21. Ok...mailman sorry...ur probally not done....but i thought Snipers where gonna make 10more HP then shears....but it seems to be the other way around? Isnt that what all this BS was about in the first place the snipers could be bolted on any Motor and make 10 more Hp then any shears....oof's or inframes?? Plz dont kill me ....im just asking.
