I just bought a set of yfz450 hubs and spindles for $125, now im looking for some YFZ450R shocks to purchase for a decent price. I really like how that front end sits up on your bike 2003limitedbanshee, & I'd love to hear a ride report when you get your bike back together. Any other suggestion on a taller shock? Right now im running a pair of Works 400EX shocks.

I put the TORS removal kit on my carbs with the idle kit, my bike still idles real low and cuts off. I have the idle screws turned all the way in. What could be the problem.

The reason I asked is because they had a pair on ebay but they're long gone now, I knew I should've bought them . Can't beat $200 bucks. But to me they looked very identical to shearers that is why I asked that question.

Yah I am curious as well. With my 400ex Works shocks my setup is decent, I like the higher clearance you have with those new yfz450r shocks. I think I will invest in some spindles. Can i use my banshee hubs with the yfz spindles?

I think I want to try these. I currently have 400ex WORKS shocks with my yfz450 a-arm setup. How much did you pay for your shocks? and what else do i have to get off of a yfz450? hubs? spindles? rotors? let me know

The top a-arms bolt directly on, be sure to use your end caps from your stock a-arms because they fit a little loose without them. I do have the spacer kit mentioned in the thread. It cost me $100 shipped, including longer tie rods. I think its only $50 bucks if you dont need tie rods. The pictures are in that thread of the spacers installed. You do have to modify the lower a-arms, requires a little cutting not too bad. It is definetly worth it. I spend about $500 bucks for a full front end setup, Including the 450 a-arms, spacers, tie rods, and shocks. I run works tripple rate 400EX shocks with my 450 a-arms because they are longer.

What ever happened to that picture by picture cool head installation guide? Showing how to re-stud the cylinders, etc. I've been looking for it.

I run the PT Hi Rev in the trails, great pipe w/ a very smooth power delivery. I used to run T5's but I like the Pt's better. They have a great midrange and pull hard up top. If I'm slowed down on a hill I can easily blip the throttle and the powerband will pick back up. I want to try PT mids and see how they compare.

I believe with the 4 gallon tank, you take off the gas tank plastic. Looks something like this... Do you happen to have pictures of the gas tank?

Nah I haven't made it yet. I might do it today or tomorrow. I really wanted to wait for my +2 swinger to come in and put it on when i change the swingarm.

Did they stop making these? I've been trying to find some for a while now. If so do you think I could make a set fit from another quad?

yah your right its $255 for bare and $305 for powdercoated And I agree that you can find a better deal. I just bought a black Powerdercoated +2 off a BHQ member for $200, roundhouse carrier style.

Not sure what watts the bulbs are, but they are bright as hell with my 200W stator. Chrome is in pretty good condition, light rust on some spots (Mostly Near The Bolts) you cant even tell. Asking $100 shipped? This is how they looked on my bike
