am in the processes of installing +2 front a-arms on my shee, my friend is selling me some brand new works shocks that came with a +2 a-arm kit for a Raptor, will those fit my new a-arms on my banshee?

put some new toomey t-6's on a 2004 banshee. k&n filter with no lid, #280 mains, stock pilots and stock needle on the 4th also still has the tors system. the bike starts and idles without a problem but after you put it in gear its real hard to get it moving it just bogs out real bad, once you start moving and keep the revs high it responce pretty good, but if you let go of the gas and hit it again it bogs and then responceds. what do you guys think is the problem? any advice will help, thanks

all my ridding buddys are leaving for the holiday weekend, so whe decided to go this sunday (6/27) so far its 2 shees, a raptor and a warrior, and i will find out tomarrow if 2 more raptors are goin. i'll PM if your interested

am still looking and convincing my friends to go with me, most likely if i do go its goin to be on saturday, so i could be back on sunday for the fireworks night

i just orderd some inframe rocket pipes for my shee (thanks minkia38), an wanted to know what jetting i should use. i have a milled head (.030), +4 adv. stock timming plate and the air box is gone .it has tommey t5 in it right know and only use it @ dumont, pismo and glamis. what do you guys recommend? anything else i should do to the bike? am not sure but i thought i saw something in here about adv. the timming to +7! does that sound right? thanks for the help

Gorman is probably coolest place you can ride around this time of the year, I heard there is also place up by Victorville where you can ride but it might b a little warmer. if your just ridding for one day am sure you can find many small places.

I just found out about them yesterday, i will let my friends know about it today hopefully i could get a crowd to go. i got some family in bakersfield so i might be there on saturday!

today i put the head back on the banshee and when i was goin to fill it up of water i noticed small metal shavings in the top of the radiator (in between the canals that go to the bottom). when i took the radiator off i also noticed that about an inch down the hose (top one) it was completely cloged up of shavings (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of hose). should i be concerned? i've had no problems with the bike? could the owner i bought it from forget to tell me something ?

Craig, i though the vitos would take the same abuse as the wiseco since both of them are made from the same company ? thanks dunedemon, is that the one you could see of the 10fwy? anyways i'll call them and see what they recomend, so i can start saving money. maybe i'll be ready for Glamis season

ok, so since my head is already milled i should just get some type porting to go with my ridding. (my stock timing plate is advanced 4deg). how much would a decent shop charge for this? also whats the lowest my compresion could and still be able to ride?

i was looking into the vito's because they claim 6hp midrange and 8hp at top end. are any other that get somewhat that same gain?

I was doin a tune up on my banshee today and deceided to check the compresion. it came out to be 110 & 113, also my head is milled .030. to me that sounds a little low. i have no problems starting it or hitting the dunes at all. so am goin to start saving for a new top end. am looking into does vito's super stock piston (forged) and maybe a larger port job (have small one mostly just a clean up). i have T-5 and no air box and the bike only gets ridden in sand. do you guys have any sugestions or recomendations on wich route i should take? thanx for the help P.S. any good shops around the Los Angeles area

A guy at some shop told me that for racing, the original banshee motors are better,is that true? is there more upgrades for the stock one

I have been doing some research on my banshee to get to know her better, and this website (and you guys) have been a big help. once in a while i see the rz350 pop up! the most i know is that it was a street bike and it was powervalve type motor, also heard of some people using them on there banshee's, whats the story with that?

I will give those thing a try and se what happends. if it doesnt work, i am just gona have to ask for more help . also, he is asking for $2200, but he will work with me on the price (buddy deal, payments). i was shooting for a yz125, but everybody is telling me that i need at least a 250 for sand. P.S. havent rode a dirt bike (like it should) in about 13yrs

my buddy has a yamaha yz250 dirt bike (1998), he told me i could borrow it if i can get it started. he was ridding when he had a spill, when he got up and kicked it it wouldnt start, he thinks it might be something electrical. i want to check the stator to see if it works, what is the best way to do that? what do you guys recomend i do first? also how much do you think this bike is worth? he might sell it cause he wants to buy a 450 dirt bike. thanks for your help

Banshee's are awesome and for $3000 you could get fairly good bike
