has anybody seen the new show on the discovery channel? Idk what it is called but i know its a show about destroying things. i watched it the other day and they blew up a normal mid-size truck by putting a bunch of dynomite on the rear axle. the bed blew to pieces and the biggest piece of the bed went about 150ft straight up. it was pretty sick. they said that the explosion would be like a bus hitting the truck at 400mph. they then took another normal mid-size truck, except this one had rino lining sprayed on the bed and used the same amount of explossives in the same place and the bed was perfectly intackt with minor dents on the bottom of the bed. that rino lining seems like some pretty strong shit. it was cool to see.

i heard the same thing too. Ive been riding banshees for about 7 years now and im on my third one. Ive been racing down the roads for the whole time going to parties, trail to trail, running from troopers and sheriffs, etc. I just try to let off every now and again. I havn't had any problems yet. hopefully i didnt just jinx myself lol

i was thinking about cutting my silancers down about a inch or so, so that the tips stop scraping when i flip. and i was hoping for a new more louder sound. has anybody done this or know if it will damage the engine or affect any engine performance or if it is even worth it

does anybody know if yzf 450 front brake calipers fit or can be mod. to fit on a banshee?
-
I'm thinking about getting the cheetah 421 kit for the shee over the winter. Trinity racing, when i talked to them about the kit they told me that their stage 5 pipe and silancer was recommended to be the best performing pipe/silancer for the engiine kit. Does anybody have any suggestions or opinions on which pipe/silancer would be the best choice for this particular engine kit?

has anybody with the v-force3 reeds had or tried the v-force2 reeds and if so what is the difference
-
I'm thinking of going with an aftermarket cylinder with powervalves, but i'm not sure which one to go with. I talked with trinity and they said that the 421 kit will push out 115hp on race fuel and you have to use race fuel. Thats with a 4mm crank. I dont really know any thing about the t-rex kit except they use cylinder sleeves. Does anybody have either of these kits and if so how is it. what is a better kit to buy

easy draw the shape of the fender you want and then use a dremal with a cutting bit and cut away. like sandstar said, take a torch to the edges of the fenders and it will make it look factory, sort of. I also found that if your plastics have any stress marks in them from roll overs, take the torch to the spot. don't hold it on there for as long as the fender edges. you dont want to melt any of the plastic. here some pics. http://community.webshots.com/user/shee4202

New Cool Head, What Domes Do I Run?
shee4202 replied to blackred03's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I just bought a 2000 bone stock. I put fmf sst, boyson pro reeds, spacers, kn filter, 4 degree timing key. I also bought the cool head and the people at alba action told me to use 21cc domes. I use 93 pump gas and it runs great no problem. -
I had the trips on my old 89. I thought that they worked pretty good except I only had the fronts. To get all the performance out of them you have to do shocks all around

I know that rossier engineering does it for around $100

how much different are the delta's from tht pyrimid's

What Do You Think Of Honda Atvs?
shee4202 replied to Banshee_Fever's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I think that everything that honda makes is junk and anything with a honda lable on it in deed sucks large balls -
I just talked to my buddy, who is the one who got me into making banshees my life and he knows alot when it comes to mechanics and he says wiseco. he says that wiseco forged pistons give a better performance than cast because they're lighter which in the end gives the best perfomance.
-
Im debating on wiseco forged pistons or pro-x cast pistons. has anybody ever tried the pro-x pistons? can you give me some info about them? whats the difference between pro-x and the wiseco?
-
I want to port my cylinders and i just got off the phone with rossier engineering about their top end rebuild deal, porting, boring, head mod, and top end kit. I told them that i didn't need the head mod because i've been using the cool head. they told me that i might have trouble because of the compression ratio that the wiseco pistons and the cool head domes would give. Can anybody tell me what dome size to use and if anybody has had a problem. I've been using 21cc domes. can anybody give me some information?
-
what do you mean when you say a shop can get you more power?
-
Ive got the cool head and ive been running it for about 4 months and i got that thing wide open the whole time im on it every time and i have seen on problems at all. punch him in the dome
-
I want to port my cylinders but am low on cash. Has anybody tried to do it themselfs with race logic templates? If so how did they come out? Is it worth it or just spend the extra cash to have them pro done.
-
I had the same problem shifing into 3rd. I just recently spit the cases to rebuild and stuff. put a aftermarket shift cam in and had the shift star mod. I was looking in the manual and it said that the shifter nut and screw needed to be adusted right. and when you look at it closely you will see how the shifter turns the shift star and if its not adjusted right it wont shift right.

I want to get the t-rex cylinder kit and I have a perfectly good stock crank. would it be worth it to have my stock crandk modified: trued and welded or through down the extra money and get a hot rods crank?
-
Im looking to buy a cylinder kit for my banshee and right now im looking into rossier engineering 400cc powervalve kit and cheetah 400cc kit. can anybody give me any info on either of these kits?
-
I was looking around and i found a 400cc/68mm cylinder kit from rossier engineering. The kit comes with new power valve cylinders, head, pistons, rings, pins, yz250 reed cages w/ v-force reeds. The kit doesn't look too bad. Little on the expensive side-2500 dollors. Thank god for tax returns. does anybody know anything about this kit or anybody that has it.
