  5. Thanks for the welcome guys, This seems like a fairly friendly place. Ill probably spend a lot of time hanging out here. My '01 Banshee is all stock, for now. I am getting ready to buy new tires and wheels for it. I want to at least put pipes on it, and a few other things. Ill figure it out once I snoop around here enough and find out what I want. I have a few Mustangs though, and one I race in NMRA's Real Street class, it goes mid tens, for now. Thanks again for the big welcome guys! Matt J. So you like this stuff Oh by the way Welcome to the site.
  6. the header and pipe is a gyt-r and my jets are 160first and 165second with 25 pilots and needle in the third clip yes i can tell a big different it was to the point it was standing up going into 4th. so i went to a 14t in the front to call it down and use the bottom more in the gears
  7. Yes, i was riding my banshee and here my friend riding this, he came up behind me to tell me something and about that time i nailed it and well it was all over the bike him..... didn't even know he was there... but since it's been in the teens here i haven't been able to was it which pisses me off. but the first nice day it's getting washed.
  8. look at my raptor post soon, i'll have the pics linked to it and you'll see what i have done as far as skids, tires and the overall setup. skids are almost a must i think.
  9. I have been working on my 04 raptor to get it ready for racing this year. i'll post some pics later just need to get some front shocks yet....damn i hate stock front shocks on the banshee's and raptors...... my blaster is nice compared to both.....
  10. I hate compaq PC's But I use their servers on my network.
  11. the 87 tires are like the warrior tread if i remember right
  12. Meat a friend and I are going to do the Rousch Creek Race this year. I'll most likely run my raptor tho since i have the most done to it. who knows maybe i'll see you there.

  18. mine doesn't do that...... the clutch is easier to user on the raptor i think.....and the thumb throttle is easier too..
  19. For PA type riding since i live in PA I would choose a Raptor since it's almost as quick, reverse, and it doesn't wear you out as quick and i know this from owning two banshee two grizzly's a blaster and a raptor... I love the banshee's for releving stress...
  20. I'm interested on reading more about the new suzuki 450r. not that i would buy a honda or suzuki but i like seeing that the sport stuff is coming back again.... now all we need is yamaha to do is redo the banshee for better handling and make a twin 400 2-stoke all i can say is hog heaven
  21. there both right
  22. i didn't read all the replys but i have a 2 banshee a blaster and raptor for the sport area. I live in pa also. the banshee's i love but their great for all out haulin ass. on the other hand my raptor is built and yet i can still drive like a 80 year old man if i want and then turn around and stand it up when going into 4th... it really depends i love two stroke but i love 4 strokes too.. it's really going to depend what your going to do.. and how much maintains you want i'm adding another machine two my collection which will be a warrior.. some may laugh .... i've seen raptors go cheap in pa in the papers from time to time, banshee seem to hold there value tho..... hope this helps
