  1. does the coast of WA count?? i;m in aberdeen, 1 hour from olympia...mostly logging roads and lots of MUD ~Mark~
  2. i have the brushed aluminum ones, and have had no problems..my only arguement is that the silicone coupler gets crushed and slightly leaks, i don't notice any exhaust coming from it but i see the black marks...worth every penny(came with my bike, so they were free basically ) ~Mark~
  3. that's like saying it is techincally a super swamper, because what was pulling the bronco and chevy were the swampers(tires), right? what you said doesn't make much sense...because on the title it says 75' land cruiser, not 80 something chevy 350... , just live with it, everything sucks at one time or another ~Mark~
  4. last time i did my top end i painted the cylinders witht he cheap wal mart paint, called silver aluminum, and no clearcoat...i sprayed it right over the stock black after i cleaned the jugs a bit, and the paint hasn't chipped of melted at all, and i know i've overheated my banshee once or twice..so that goes to show ya that regular spray paint holds up fine.. ~Mark~
  5. axcalibar axle is about the best you can get, get the best a-arms you can find, and some stiff suspension..also an upgraded swingarm, bearing carrier(roundhouse), chain and sprockets would be a good start..from there wait and see what breaks, look for tie rods with heim joints, strong wheels and hubs, etc... good luck and post some pics of your "insane" jumping skillz!! ~Mark~
  6. i ride an 87 banshee, and bought a new set of 2004 tires/wheels froma guy for cheap..they fit without any problems, must be other years... ~Mark~
  7. there is a little plug above your left cylinder tucke slightly under the gas tank, unplug it...mine came unplugged when i bought it used, no TORS, single carb...anyway that is kinda my key, sinc i don;t have a key i just plug that in and boom, no spark , try unplugging that first(can be stuck sometimes), then recheck grounds..and spark plug wires/connections ~Mark~
  8. screw ford and chevy, go buy a toyota!! in fact we pulled out two very stuck trucks today..one was chevy pickup and the other was a bronco II!! with out land cruiser, a few thinsg is has is a 350chev(yeah i know..), 38.5" swampers, air lockers, etc..buy a totoyta next time!! ~Mark~
  9. i NEED that front fender(race cut)...how much shipped to WA?? zip code 98520, i don't have much to trade...in fact nothing banshee related..LMK [email protected] paypal, Thanks ~Mark~

  11. Not to purposely hijack your thread here, but i only run on logging roads and dunes also, and have a graydon proline 2:1 setup with a 35mm mikuni carb and K&N filter w/ outerwear i'd like to trade for a set of 35's...i don't go on the forums much so e-mail me [email protected], but first buy his trinity setup ...sorry for stealing your thread(i can delete it, e-mail me)Thanks ~Mark~
  12. how much to outright sell it?? e-mail me a price at [email protected], Thanks ~Mark~
  13. the next thing would have been to check your air filter..you might have gotten it dirty or water soaked when u washed the bike..glad to hear you got it figured out, what was it?? i had the air filter problem before with my K&N, i had a friend oil it and he used about a quart of air filter oil...idiot... ~Mark~
  14. I live in Aberdeen, WA. We have a vacation place over by moses lake, actually right on the potholes reservoir.... we go riding there every once in a while, i'll let you guys know next time we head that way, we will be going within the next 2 weeks, but not to ride unfortunately... Anyone from the coast of WA also?? you can e-mail me at [email protected] ~Mark~
  15. i use an adjustable clutch lever, i forgot who makes it...anyway it has 3 settings, i use the middle one, but it much easier to pull than the stock one, but you have to adjust it because you won't be pulling the cable as far as you would with the stock perch...a good buy for the price, go for it ~Mark~
  16. brake still needed...TTT ~Mark~

  21. Hey, i either need a whole cheap working rear caliper or just the piston, o ring that seals the back of the piston to the housing and the little metal piece that holds the o-ring in..(all must be in good working condition) please e-mail me at [email protected] or IM me at Mmarkclark250, Thanks ~Mark~
  22. how much for the t maxx?? i don;t have any banshee parts to trade except a stock carb airbox to carb boot...and a stock air filter..Thanks ~Mark~
  23. i don't have dual carbs but i would think the 260 would be a little big, or small, but i think the average is 300-330 i think, but my friend had this same problem with his blaster, i thought it was because he let it idle to warm up and it kept fouling the plug, we tried numerous plugs and checked the air filter, it was all ok, it turned out to be the choke was acting up, so check the air filter, plugs, choke tube between the carbs, and lastly if those don;t work put the old jets back in..good luck. ~Mark~
  24. no dissappointments here, just hopes, lol, sucks about the shoulder, even from a minor crash, if i break myself, it's usually a pretty bad wreck..lol, bringing back memories...Thanks anyway. ~Mark~
