With my mods what do you guys think will it be ok till the top end goes? I know there is know way to tell for sure. Also how can I help to make it last longer. I asume not dumping the clutch when dragging is a way, but does that matter if it's on dirt being that the tires spin? Just dont want to take it all apart to get it welded. This lazyness is probably going to burn me in the end. What do you think? I think my comp is around 145.

When my flywheel came off it died and made a grinding noise also when it came to a stop and when I kicked it over. Look into that.

I just looked for the color. As for the heating up, Yes I know the temp guage isn't the most accurat because it measures collent. But I beat the crap out of it and it never went over 130. Also when I did the test it was around 30-35 degrees out. This sunday when I go it's supposed to be like 57 high so I figured I'd just leave it. thanks for the input.

Finally put in 340's went to a local hick town took the bike off and took off down one of there streets got home cut the plugs a bearly saw a light brown ring way at the bottom. So I just left them however I did change my needle before i went to fourth from the point wich I later found out was the wrong direction but it ran great, so to be safe I just put it back in the middle.

are you talking about the sleeve thing that connects the silencer to header? If so E-bay. Factory ones work so your local dealer. It looks like a rubber sleve I would try to buy a rubber tube to fit there and put the two hoseclamps on it. If this is what you are talking about.

Why is it that when I got some air mods and pipes I was told to try and drop the needle? Dosen't that make it run more lean? Why wouldn't I want to raise it to get more gas to go with the more air. Also when you say 4th from bottom that is counting with the point of the needle faceing the ground right? So like second from the top of the flat end. Just trying to make sure thanks.

No, I cant do it here and I dont have a truck to haul it anywhere. I usually barrow my dads but he's working. Do you think that I am lean? After i rode it arund i pulled the choke out to the first notch and it kept bogging then kept stalling. Isn't that rich?

Ok, now I let it idle a while then went on to the road with it, It totally screams now. Plus the popping sound is gone so I think it is ok. Thanks for the speedy replys.

OK got it to run but sounds like a faint pop sound is being made at idle But dosen't back fire when reved?? on one cylinder.

Ok I changed the main jets to 340. I have done this before so I know how to do it. But for the first time I decided to try and change the needle to the 4th from the bottom. I must have messed up some where because it wolln't start and is spueing gas when I start to kick it over. what did I do.
