  1. I've had a magura hydraulic clutch for about a year and a half now. i haven't seen anything that even compares to them. To answer your question, in the long run they are definately worth it. No clutch cables to lube, adjust, or replace. One thing to be careful of is the plastic lines they come with will burn against pipes...but they also sell a stainless steel line for $50 (I think). I would recommend these to anyone.
  2. HA HA HA....That's fukkin hilarious!
  3. This is about the best pic I got.
  4. I really like my propegs, huge footpegs and great protection from the rear tires. They didn't bolt up perfectly for me...but it didn't take too much muscle to get them on
  5. I'm pretty sure Magic racing sells them the cheapest new. I got mine on ebay for $125.00 and just needed polished.
  6. Sorry, wasn't completely sure that was true...just knew that ride height can be made to what the rider wants.
  7. I use to have Works triple rates w/rezzies on stock arms and now have TCS duals on +2+1. I really loved my works compared to stock shocks, but I started to feel that they were too soft for me. I really like the TCS more, but Works will easily get the job done. The triple rates have that extra spring that supposedly(going by what I'm told) compresses going through the smaller stuff. And ride height should be determined by what you have the shock valved for. I had a good ride height with the triple rates and they were valved for MX. I would personally go with dual rates w/rezzies.
  8. wow...that really is some crazy $hit! The more sets of pics you go through, the worse it gets.
  9. whoa...that's crazy lookin', I bet it took a while to design!
  10. Well...I started out on a Blaster and bought a Banshee after a year or so. If you think a Warrior is too heavy for you, you might want to test ride a 'shee before you buy it(a Banshee is just as heavy). A Banshee is going to handle better than a warrior and Blaster, but you won't be able to throw the 'shee around like you can with a Blaster. Also....a Banshee requires much more maintenance than a Blaster (remember a Banshee has two carbs to jet, and sychronize). And like Wassup350 said, you've got two cylinders, pistons, and rings. But as long as you keep up on maintenance, shee's as reliable as any other quad. If you were modding your Blaster, I bet sooner or later you will be modding a banshee.
  11. I've been in your shoes before...but I was just never as serious as it sounds you are. Everyone here locally is on a four stroke, mostly 400EXs. I feel that you should keep the shee unless you're planning on being a serious racer. If you decide to go with a new four stroke, I would stick with the YFZ. It is obviously going to be a better bike for MX compared to the Banshee. But I just hear people saying on here that they would sell the YFZ in a a heartbeat before the shee. Like you said...it would be a lot easier to maintain a four stroke, but I personally feel thats part of riding.
  12. I've used 8 x 1/2" before and I just got done putting 1100 10 x 1/2" in the rear this year. I don't really have a set pattern when putting them in the tire. Do not get the self tapping, I'm pretty sure they would make bigger holes...which would cause them to fall out a lot easier. I usually run around 3 psi in the tires.
  13. Damn...that really does make you sick. Not only when you think about how much they paid for some of those cars...but how much it would cost, if repairable, to fix!
  14. They look like Banshee a-arms to me...but I dunno what Houser Banshee arms look like. The guy made a fairly good description about 'em....just spelled (HOUSER) wrong. Simple mistake....
  15. This is gettin' good.
  16. The tie rods are the only thing adjustable with the stock a-arms. Toe-in and Toe-out. If that's what you need to adjust...just loosen the lock nuts on ends and turn the tie rod which ever way they need to go. Just remember one end is left handed and the other is right handed.
  17. You didn't happen to get any more pics, yet, have you?
  18. yeeeaaah, that's HIGHLY unlikely. How much is he saying this "kit" costs? What I wanna know is how you can get 75hp w/ 2g's? Tell him the the "I" in front on the "V" makes it a stage 4!
  19. I've been wondering the same thing for quite a while now.
  20. Yea, it was cut by Gary at Quicksand(1 7/8"). I also saw someone on here say that it wouldn't fit, but I was a little skeptical about it. I bought 'em cheap on ebay figured if they didn't fit....I'd sell them and probably make money.( I actually made money by selling the old ones and buying these)
  21. You got any pics? I've never seen or heard of tusk nerf bars before.
  22. There are quite a few people on here that swear by Paul Turner Mid's. Toomey's aren't really considered very good pipes for "low low end"(I've got 'em). I'd also look into the 2 into 1 carb, lightened flywheel(PM Boonman), advanced timing(+4), V-force delta 2 reeds, and possibly an aftermarket cool head w/some 18-20cc domes(more compression). stclark816 runs the irazrs, i'm sure he'd give you his input on them. Welcome to the HQ!
