  1. I would definitely go with a taller tire like a 22x11x9. I run GBC Dirt Devils and they are awesome for trails / mud, etc...I have excellent clearance over most obstacles and they grab really good in any trail-like terrain. They spin just enough so you don't flip over on a hard launch too If you go with the bigger tire, definitely gear it down like loco said; maybe a 13 or possibly a 12 depending on how you like it...compensates nicely for the size difference in tires. Here is a pic of what they look like
  2. Have you asked Meat Head if he would do your cylinders?
  3. That's the guy I was thinking of....it did sit really low
  4. I'm pretty sure it's not a direct fit, you'll have to do some fabbing if you want to do it. There is a guy on here that did put 450 arms on his banshee and it looked great.
  5. lol, nice ad (pic) you got there!! I've dealt with NYUK on several occasions...he was really easy to deal with and had a quick turnaround. I'd definitely buy from him again
  6. Yeah he is a member...saw his for sale post in the "For Sale" section....I love that ride too, damn shame I don't have the $$$$$ to buy it
  7. What kind of riding do you normally do? Trails/Sand/etc...I went up there a couple weeks ago and wished I had one size fatter on the main. My shee was jetted perfect for trails here in Memphis (3-400ft above sea level, respectively) and when I took my first rip down the dunes I started running hot. Normally for me my average operating temp here is 150-160 or so and in the first 10 minutes there I was at 190-200. I agree 100% with sredish about not changing anything until you get there and run it first...you may not have to change anything at all. BUT, it would be a good idea to take a size bigger and smaller on your mains, and if worse case scenario you don't have the jet size you need, there is a shop there at LS that sells them. Temperature outside is getting colder and will definitely have a role in how your jetting should be too...
  8. I agree 100%...I noticed a nice gain in stability when flipping the rear wheels. Flipping the front wheels is really easy to do; it's cheaper and better than buying wheel spacers...I did it for 5 bucks and gained about 2 inches on each side
  9. I think you definitely need to check the compression...18cc domes and pump gas sounds real risky to me. I'd check it first before riding it any more, and then we'll go from there. Hopefully there hasn't been any damage done Mine runs shitty at first too until it warms up, but once it's warm she does great.
  10. I like it!! Good job Lee!!
  11. I think the all white would look really good...especially if you had some billet and chrome added in the mix. If I were to choose between the yellow and orange I'd pick the yellow. With your blue frame it would look pretty tight
  12. I've always bought my pilots from the dealer but I hear that Magic Racing has them.
  13. I like the Metal Cast too Seems to be holding up rather well. The only flaws I have on them are from me chipping it with pliers on accident
  14. That is correct...on the T5's there is a snap ring holding the end cap of the silencer on...You must buy a set of snap ring pliers to get it out, which can be a pain in the ass if you buy the cheap snap ring pliers Been there before.........
  15. Thanks! The tires are flipped backwards as my last minute remedy for no traction in the sand...worked pretty good
  16. Big boy, you must also have trouble reading. My point was "SKIP MY POST IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT THE SUBJECT SAY". Who are you to say what forum I can put my post on. Thanks for all that replied with an intelligent post. lol, I never said not to post or where to put it, just explained why everyone's being so harsh...and only because you asked for an explanantion. Don't get your panties all in a bunch. And your welcome for the intelligent post
  17. There ya go.....
  18. Obviously you must have trouble reading, I just explained to you why we posted if we don't want to hear about it....we posted to tell you WE DON'T CARE about the freakin election in 2008 right now; we just made it through election 2004...if you're so anxious to talk about it why don't you go find a political forum and post a thread there.... Got my point?
  19. Here's mine....
  20. Someone has to step up and say we're tired of seeing 10 threads in the general discussion forums talking about elections/politics....Speaking for myself I'm really burned out on all the back and forth debating about who likes who and why....The election is over now, let's get back to banshees Re-post this thread in 3.5 years and then we'll talk
  21. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43971
  22. I personally would stick with your banshee. You've got a good bit of mods on yours and like you said you feel comfortable on it. The 250R is stock with a pipe; you'd probably need to sink quite a bit of money into it to be competitive with it too. I'd sink the 2500 into the banshee for suspension....Just what I would do
  23. I'm not too sure yet, haven't really thought about it. I may have a trade going on, if it doesn't work out I'll pm you a price for the head pipes. tsuther, sent you a pm
