  1. If I don't get them from my local dealer, I pick them up from Rage Performance <---Click Here--->
  2. Happy Birthday BenBB!!!
  3. Damn led, sorry to hear about this shit...as others have said, you'll make it through this and will be stronger in the long run. Everything does happen for a reason, whether you realize it or not. If there is anything I can do to help you out, shoot me a PM and I'll do what I can for ya
  4. I think it would be a good idea to add something to the home page or part of a "new member agreement" that's like the "BansheeHQ commandments". Maybe these morans will read them and not be inclined to post their retardedness across the boards... Like this.... 1. A stock banshee will NOT surpass 100 mph, unless one is riding boonman's banshee. 2. Thou shall not ask how to start a banshee unless one cannot get it started in the first place. 3. Thou shall not post the same question in 5 different forums or else the banshee gnomes will disassemble the post whore's banshee while sleeping in the night. 4. If one brags about something that they can do, prove it. If not, willingly accept the flaming you will receive for talking smack. 5. If a banshee owner is curious if they can beat another quad in a race, do not ask thy HQ, go race them and find out for yourself. If there isn't one around to race, who gives a shit whether or not you could beat one? That's just a start, I'm sure you guys could come up with some "rules" to add to the list if you wanted to do something like this...
  5. Hell yeah!!! Good luck to ya Led, that would be a great quad to trade in for the bike you wanted!!! I got my fingers crossed for ya!!!
  6. Also if the reeds are either worn out or broken it will be REALLY hard to get started. I'd pull the carbs off and shine a flashlight into your intake boots and check em out.
  7. LOL!!! I'll never forget that! You must have kicked you shee at least 50-75 times, MY foot was hurtin' just watching you! Good times
  8. It's the "bmx" style. Demon340, you've got mail
  9. You will be fine running 93 octane with your specs....You would need to run a race gas mix (race gas/pump gas) if your timing was at +7 though. I know the reasoning behind all of it but would be horrible at trying to explain it. Someone else could probably explain this for you a lot better than I could....
  10. I have a toomey handlebar pad for sale, 12 bucks shipped. It's solid black with white lettering and in great shape...comes with the foam too I can email a pic to anyone interested. Thanks for looking!
  11. Have you checked the hubs to see if they're straight? Not sure what else might cause your problem
  12. Banshee tuner is right...you will not gain horsepower by boring the cylinders. I agree, you should go with a .020 over set of pistons and have the shop bore the cylinders to match them.
  13. That is true...but I didn't find it as much of an inconvenience for me, I actually like the way it is now, my hand would always rub the light controls and blister up my thumb The way I look at it is you only have to turn the run switch on once, and if it's dark you only have to hit the lights once...it's not something that requires any attention while riding
  14. Yeah, you really went off there and shouldn't have....a lot of people use SOS pads, just because you don't think it's a good idea, don't bash him for it. Like DUNEDEMON said, he was only trying to help I use a paint cleaner for tough "stains" on my pipes...Meguiars makes it for car paint and it's worked for me so far....
  15. Block off will definitely work on the shee...that's a pretty good deal for the combo! I picked up a clutch lever from nac's racing, so far I really like it I got the ASV F1 lever/perch https://secure7.nexternal.com/shared/StoreF...ount2=829856514
  16. VERY nice!!! Damn good job man!!!
  17. I think if you can't get what you're looking for out of adjusting the needle to the first clip, you might want to think about bigger carbs. I'll bet your porting is really liking that air you're feeding it now, those stock carbs may not be enough to get the engine the right amount of gas.
  18. Absolutely, buy a kit. You can find them on ebay all day long for between 120-160 depending on the seller, and the kit includes the pistons, rings, wrist pins, gaskets, and practically everything you need to complete the top end job minus getting the cylinders bored. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43971 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43977 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43977 If you do go the ebay route, I've bought two top end kits from sledpartsguy, and they showed up at my door 3-4 days later; very professional guy. What bore are you on now? I'll be happy to help you get going in the right direction, I've been in your shoes before!
  19. This may be a shot in the dark but have you checked for any air leaks? Only reason I'm thinking this is because you've gone up from a 300 main to a 400 and only noticed a little difference in coloration. I can change jets from a 280 to 290 and see a difference on my plugs
  20. If those numbers are accurate then you definitely need a rebuild. There's no real way to measure how long your top end will last, a lot of factors have to do with riding conditions, how hard you ride it, and how well you put it together.
  21. OK, since we're on the topic of spark plugs (non-resistor type) affecting electronics, could they affect the camcorder in my backpack? For some weird reason I picked up a butt load of weird noise in the microphone last time I went for a ride...the video came out clean but the sound was horrible....
