If it is not your jetting then try changing your gear ratio. Maybe you could drop the front sprocket one size to a 13, assuming you're running stock gears.

What jetting will I need for....
bigboybanshee replied to landw0lf's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I want to see what your plugs look like after you riding without your silencers on.... Seriously though man, just buy you a set of aftermarket pipes and ditch the stock expansion chambers...I honestly think you're doing more damage than good by running it that way, and you'll get a similar effect if you would just get some pipes that were designed to flow better rather than butchering the stock ones. -
Ditto that!

Welcome to the HQ!! I run Bel-Ray MC-1 2-stroke oil in the engine mixed at 50:1. For the tranny I use Bel-Ray 80W gear oil...Coolant, I use engine ice. It dropped the overall temp my banshee ran by 20 degrees. Plugs, you typically want to run NGK BR8ES. Be sure to do a quick check before each ride of all fluids, make sure all nuts and bolts are tight (as well as your chain) and you should be good to go...I might be forgetting a few things but I'm sure others will bring them up... Oh yeah, most of my things I pick up from the dealership, but a couple good sites are.... Rocky Mountain ATV <-----click here and for jets... Rage Performance <-----click here Be sure to check out the sponsors on the site, they usually give you a discount for being a member -
Review: CPI Inframe Pipes in stock a banshee
bigboybanshee replied to richybanshee's topic in Product Reviews
Awesome review!!!! Honestly that has to be one of the best product reviews I've read on the HQ -
There is only ONE way to tell. When you get there, do a plug chop. Your plugs will tell you whether or not you need to change jets.

I'm wondering if your problem is something else...I mean, your jetting does sound really fat, but why would one side have less "pressure" coming out as well as the gooey shit you're talknig about if your problem was solely jetting? There might be something else going on in your engine to cause the left side to do what it is, maybe the crank seal went bad.....

You are exactly right...I run a Noss Head with 21cc domes (at sea level) and on a fresh top end I'm right at 160 psi. If I were to use my 20cc domes, I'd have to run race gas or a mix.

Oh, man that sucks! You should be alright though. I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice a difference in the way it rides.

Leaving it submerged in water for a 1/2 hour is definitely not a good thing for it. I run through water all the time but never let it just sit there. The brakes could be squeeking from any kind of dirt residue that stuck to the rotor or pad...it's the same principle as if you have a lot of brake dust on your rotors on a car. They'll squeek until you get that dust off. Is there any play in your rear axle? Does the axle rotate smoothly and without much friction? If it's tight and turns good I would not worry about your carrier bearings.

LMAO, what's the fuckin difference from posting it in the general discussion forum and then posting a link to the post in general discussion in another forum. Anyway you look at it you're double posting....You're showing your true colors with this one buddy!

WARNING K.C. METRO ATV BUYERS
bigboybanshee replied to pimpeinkc's topic in General Banshee Discussion
LOL, that's why you call them first and make sure they have the quad on their floor. If they don't, you don't go....if they do, you get in your little truck and go get it. You're blowing this out of proportion here....I mean, it's understandable to get a little upset, but come on now....If I am understanding your post right, the whole reason you're upset is because this dealership quoted you a price over the phone, and when you got there, they said it was gonna be more. Right? This is the dealership that is an hour away, not 3 hours, right? And because you weren't gonna get the 450 for the price they quoted over the phone you want to go cracking skulls? Have you ever been told over the phone that a part was in stock and when you get there it's not? Do you go cracking skulls then too? You failed to mention how much they originally quoted you and what they re-quoted you for the cost of the 450....Is a couple hundred bucks "I assume" (especially in comparison to 6500 overall) gonna keep you from buying a YFZ 450 or make you drive 3 hours away to get one from another dealership just because the other one quoted you wrong? All the dealerships in Memphis are total BS, but does that stop me from buying from them, or make me drive 3 hours away to get the part I need cause I don't like them? NO, I need the part, I buy it...I don't get on the HQ and say "go visit their website and talk shit about them because they quoted me the wrong price", or talk about cracking skulls because they want more for it than originally stated....That's just retarded You have got some issues man -
WARNING K.C. METRO ATV BUYERS
bigboybanshee replied to pimpeinkc's topic in General Banshee Discussion
That whole story seems kinda flakey to me... First off, why would the second dealer you went to call the first dealer for a quad that they already have sold on Thursday? Secondly, do you think a dealer really cares about who buys the quad? They are only concerned about the money...and thirdly, why should we go on their site and write bad stuff about them when YOU are the one having issues? That's pretty childish! -
Noss head vs Mod quad head
bigboybanshee replied to williamjernigan's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Speaking from personal experience, I love my Noss head. The product along with service is outstanding. David Noss is a class act seller and I highly recommend him and his heads (banshee heads ) to everyone. I'm with everyone else, I had no idea Modquad sold performance heads. I thought he sold mainly blingin parts; which I've bought those from him too...Both sellers are great to deal with, whomever you chose you really can't go wrong -

LMAO, I couldn't have anything tattooed on my body that I wasn't 100% sure I knew what it meant...You guys remember the prison tattoo artist that was putting all kinds of whacked tattoos on inmates? I remember someone posting it but can't remember who...that was hysterical If / when I get a tattoo it will be something that I drew myself, not something that every John, Dick, and Harry can get out of an "example book" -
Sad, but that's the friggin truth!!!

Any computer experts out there
bigboybanshee replied to Bansheeman1121's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Sounds like even if you kill whatever it is that did this to your PC you'll still have issues....unfortunately, if the virus deleted settings/files there isn't a way to get them back without either restoring your machine or re-installing windows. To help prevent nasty bugars like that I use Microsoft's spyware killer that you can download for free off their website, along with McAfee anti-virus software. Norton never worked that well for me... -
Awesome, thanks zilladude!!!

I cracked one of my lenses on my torch lights and was wondering if there is anyone that sells replacement lenses....Thanks!!!
